You finally managed to sell him for a substantial price, after weeks of putting him on the T.L. finally someone paid this enormous amount for a 28-y old player, amazing.
Congrats, nonetheless, although i would never pay 3.5m for a 28y-old player.
But i'm sure this will lift your finances way up.
By the way, Dartreb, i wonder, what are your plans in the near future with your team ?

And a good buy.

If Belgium's finest SF was on the TL with still 4 playing seasons ahead of him, I would do all I can to sign him, I think. He wouls be quite an asset (although these 3.5 M would probably go to waste ...)

I do think that he worth that price too, because it's training is almost done (two more up to come un long range shoot + agility). You can buy younger players but they won't be that strong, so the question is, is it beter to have a fully trained player with 28 yo or a player you 'll have to train out of position and that will take the place of a stronger one (a 28yo one) or the place of another player you want to train ?

When is see rookies sold at more than 2.0M with all the works and losses to come due to training + the salary and costs of good trainers needed to have a nice final player, that usualy won't worth more than the initial price (except for SF or PF), i'm even more convinced that Hernando is a good buy, especialy for a buyer which is the NT trainer of Hernando's contry.

Right enough. I wouldn't have put 3.5 M on him, but an Indonesian would. If he had been belgian, it would have been reversed ...

Yeah Bradok, i see your reasoning, and well, ... thinking about it, it is actually a good buy for a fully trained player who has at least 4 good seasons to go, before deterioration...
You're right, one would probably lose more money if paying more than 2m for a rookie who has yet to be trained to the fullest...
But nonetheless, 3.5m is quite an amount i think.

But.... like you said it's in your pocket and whatever to do with it as you please...

So... what are your plans with all this money i wonder

i sure hope he won't use that money once we get to meet eachother.

no all in all, great investment for u. he could use that cash in many different way's. But my advise is: stow it away. buy some training players, train em for a while. that way u got the players u want with that specific skillset. Once u got that, u can build a team around it. It's what i've done after my unfortunate sell of Marichal. i build a team around J-J. J-J is finally comming into his own, and i'm liking my team. i've got a ton of cash ready to surround my core players.

So once i go up (especially if it's in the Deep blue conference again) then i should be able to build a team to stay for a long period and hopefully the peaces will fall in place that will allow me to challenge for Belgiums highest honors. it's one of the couple of things are still missing on my 'BB resume'.

So Bradok, get ur core together. once u got that, u just need to be patient and put the right pieces aroudn them. best of luck with finding those pieces and i'm looking forward to facing u again (just not next season pls. cause that would mean i would have failed to promote...)

Az~

Hey Joe, or someone else who knows,

When you know your opponent is going to play princeton tactic, and you want to set the GDP feature, then for princeton, should i set inside or outside focus ?

I was thinking outside focus and slow pace, but i am not sure.

Can someone of you guys confirm this, or correct it please ?

grtz,
Eagle
