How about naming it Antarctica? Then people can associate a real geography to it. Hmmmm..... Does Antarctica have a flag?

well.... i´m really not sure about this.

1. The draft should be with Players of all other 98 nations- with an equally sized pool, and each Team will receive a Player of a random Nation. for example, it could be a Player of Barbados, USA, russia etc...

2. 10 Bucks for everyone? really? I shall pay as a supporter and don´t get the full package? Never heard of this before in the discussion, at least a Discount should be given to supporters.

3. I think you should start with league V. Do you really only expect 1024 People to subscribe?

4. Please tell us, at which time we will be able to subscribe- with a decent time to make a decision and not "oh in 1 hour you can subscribe".

5. If i buy for 10 $ the second Team, and my supporter is ending for example in december, then i will always have two Dates in the year where i´ll have to resubscribe. Give at least an Option for current supportes to extend the supporter package to the same time as the 2nd Team package.

6. Why can´t i buy with my second Team Players that have played for example 10 seasons ago on my first Team? That really is disturbing, as i would like to see some of my old heroes in my second Team again. It´s totally clear that you can´t buy Players from the second Team to the first Team and vice versa- but if there has past some amount of time (for example one season) after one has sold a Player it should be allowed to buy him as the second or first Team. It also isn´t forbidden to buy your Players back....

That´s just the first thoughts i have....

I'm wondering how many users are happy with BB-Marin's announcement and this "Utopia" thing and how many are not. I've seen that polls are already asking people's opinion on draft and transfers in Utopia. I guess it would be a good thing to have first a poll on Utopia itself. How do you think we should ask the question and what should be the different answers ?

Just one thing thats comes to my mind reading news about 2º team.

Why supporters have to pay 10$ if we've paid 40$ for testing new stuff, features and improves? I quote:

I understand that if 2º is only available for supporter, non supporter could feel like playing a demo. But, why supporters have to pay?? Better if non supporter pay 10$ (not all pack of supporter, only 2º team) and supporters dont have to pay, right? It's more accessible for all in my opinion and more fair

PS: I've paid 10$ for supporter with Draftstreet and I expected that supporters don't paid at all and I could play with 2º team. Now, I'm not going to pay that price for something that, in my opinion, must be included on supporter pack. And maybe, if they were included on it, I would pay 40$ for all package. But now, they just lost 10$ this year and 40$ next one.

Why do you have to pay for a belt when you buy a pair of pants?

The option to have a 2nd team in "Utopia" and the supporter package are two different products.

Could they have made the 2nd team part of the support package? Sure. But that would mean the 2nd team would bring in less money to help develop BuzzerBeater. It also would mean that every supporter would likely have a second team, even those who may not be all that interested and would largely ignore their second team. Now only people generally interested in a second team are likely to have one, since everyone has to pay $10 for the second team.

As a supporter who may or may not decide to have a second team, I have no issue with supporters having to pay for a second team and actually appreciate it being a separate product.

Well, prieto mentioned a very valid point. Being supporter means paying for: Buzzerbeater employs a full time development team ... .
Now this development team, which I´m already paying for, is busy working on the Utopia thing, which I then cannot use without paying again.
For me those are not different products, and having to pay for the 2nd team as a supporter wasn´t mentioned before.

Hi, I'll try to formulate a concise answer.
1. It's an option. When we planned the feature we thought it would be better for it to have it's own players. Don't remember if there was a particular reason why. It's definitely easier that way (than modifying draft and team player creation code).

2. As some guys already pointed out, it's not about money, although we appreciate the extra income. We want the Utopia country to be the most competitive place in BB. Giving free teams to all Supporters would counter that. Also, Supporters get the Supporter package on their second team for free, for the duration of the package.

3. If there are more than 1024, we will downgrade everyone to level V.

4. Working on it right now, so, worst case scenario, in a matter of days.

5. You can always buy the 3 month Supporter packages to get them as close as possible. Your suggestion is practically impossible, sorry.

6. Why wouldn't you buy those old players with your primary team? The rule is there to make sure no foul play between the two teams is ever even suspected, and for that it needs to be rigorous.
