A little off topic: I have a 6'4" guard, 20 years old and MVP potential. I also have a level 6 trainer. I am trying to get his OD up. It justs seems a little slow to me. According to the US offsite, a 20 year old gets .48 skill pops per single position training pressure. He needed three weeks each for his last three pops. And keep in mind that some of these trainings were done when he was still 19. Even with a low sublevel to start with, the 0.48 seems to be way off. Sometimes I ask myself if that level 6 trainer actually makes a difference.

---

On topic again: I have a SF prospect who looks like this:

Weekly salary: $ 17 604
Age: 21
Height: 6'4" / 193 cm
Potential: perennial allstar

9 10
14 6
11 8
9 9
6 7

I got a pretty good idea what he might look like once he is capped, but I'd like to hear your input and training suggestions. This is what he could look like in my plans:

15 11
15 11
15 10
10 12+
6 7

He could certainly use some more rebounding as a SF, but that would eat up a lot of his cap.

21yo, superstar pot, 6'0.
12/8/14/13/12/12 - 9/5/6/2

19yo, star pot, 6'1.
7/6/7/3/6/4 - 6/5/7/7

18yo, star pot, 6'4.
4/7/7/5/4/6 - 4/4/5/2

Right now my training plan is just for the 21 yo benefits and im going with IS for the rest of this season. ID next season and REB the season afterwards. Anyone like this training plan.

I have bids on two high pot guys with balanced skillset to get the IS/ID/REB before moving onto guard skills, but I doubt ill get them so ill move forward as if these are my trainees :)

Focus on him exclusively. When you train him, make sure he gets 48-75 minutes a week. I recommend you make him into a big. For example, OD to at least inept (4), DR to inept (4), PA to inept (4). After you get those horrible skills a bit higher, I would start training his IS/ID/REB. One more thing: make sure to single-position train. The only skills you can't single-position train are JS, DR, REB, Stamina and Free Throws.

his skillset is ok but he has only star potential. You can train him as a bench player for your future team but I wouldnt.

try to get 3 players with allstar/perenial allstar potential on the market and train them

Like Dr.J said, it is alright since he is in D.V. When I started BB, I trained a starter potential player that was serviceable in my D.IV league. Allstar and perennial allstar are better, but he can use this guy for his first training experience. When he is finished, he may be good enough for D.IV.
