Good luck Chunks in your new league and hope you get a strong draft pick.

Best bet is to pull an Astral and come back stronger than ever and hope you don't promote to II-1!

Like the Chunks, I came in on fire, made the playoffs a couple times and was looking to make a move. But, I am learning and I am looking forward to a season in dIII. I plan to do the Astral Weeks shuffle and come back stronger and deeper.

Good luck to all of you in DII.1 next season.

Peace,

Thanks for coining the phrase "doing an Astral"..... I just hope it's not a 1 season thing. Hoping I can maintain next year. Goodluck to you down there. Looking forward to seeing you again.

...I really though Rocket was destined for the NBBA by now the way that team just zoomed up and kept on rolling...

Thanks, but just lucky so far. Don't be surprised if I drop to III next season! :) There's not much chance of sustaining my progress with my current roster - I still lack a very good PG, so I am trying to save up for one, but I also need to expand my arena by another 25% over next season. Liquidity is always an issue.

From my observation, the toughest thing about dropping to DIII is going to be the revenue drop - if more than 1 season, to get back up to II, I think I would have to turnover my team on a rolling basis so it is going to be much more time-consuming to play the game. I thought Chaos Lord did a very successful job as an example - he dropped to my old III league and is back here in II with a very strong defensive team.

Also, I believe there are some III leagues where the competition is very stiff, no less so than in II. Hopefully no one ends up in those.

Based on your performance, I'd put you up for manager of the year for the league...

Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I appreciate the support. Going to be very tough to keep it going though. I hate the offseason..... Wish we were starting up already.

Congratulations to Kzarik. I tempted fate with the 7th seed one too many times. It's been fun and hope to see you all in a couple seasons.

This has been quite a good few days for TWSS. I win Game 1 of the finals against petersburg on the road, Dan Billingsley gets called up by the USA NT for the semifinals against Argentina, and today I noticed that somehow I'm ranked #4 in the US (wha?!?!). Haha I'll take it.

You know what this means: Dan blows the NT game, gets injured for weeks, I lose both games to petersburg, and my impending fire sale demotes me to III after next season. I can see it now...
