6'6 is great to train an SF, at 6 ft he would have had a hell of a bad time to train his inside skills..

not a hell of a bad time but you would be at a small disadvantage... and remember, you only have to train 3 inside skills compared to 6 outside skills.

Also, don't forget his IS,ID,Reb is already at 7 compared to his outside skills which aren't all at 7.

So I think the smaller the height the better it is. but You are right, 6 ft might be too small. maybe 6'2 or 6'3 would be perfect.

I think you made an okay pickup Can be a great big man. Nice passing and okay OD already. Shot blocking sure is a minus, but thats nothing that couldnt be fixed.

I may sound like a di*k for asking, but, if you have 10 mill in cash why does your team suck so bad, I mean at best you might have a 19-20 year old that you got 10-15 pops for this season, but as whole your team looks to be wasted. the 24yo Center looks to have finished up his training as being an average div4 center (same as the 23yo one), the 34yo PF serves no purpose (same as the 31yo one).

I mean 10 million? why bother with 18-20 year olds? why not by to 21yo SF type guys at 3 mill each and train them? I guess I just don't see the point in what you are trying to do (unless you just want to train your own player?), at 10mill and your Arena you should have been planning on being in div1 in 3 seasons, with a team to compete once you got there, instead you got a 4k 18yo....

I aint having a go (despite what it looks like), I guess I am just trying to work out what you goal is, as for someone who has never had over 1.5mill in the bank I see having 10mill the same as having a cheat code, which means it should be time to try and complete the game....

I don't mind you asking, and I've had to answer this type of rant a few times already. ;)

If you look a bit closer at my team, you'll notice that every single player on my roster is someone I drafted. It hasn't always been that way, mind you, and after about a dozen seasons of being "not quite good enough" at the D2 level, I had to try something new to keep myself interested in BuzzerBeater. So I'm trying the all-home-grown thing. I'm more than willing to fail at this, but for now it's a fun thing to try.

As far as the 23yo and 24yo guys, "average div4 center[s]" don't have a combined OD/ID of 24+ like those two guys have. I'm building players slightly differently, and trying to find the most effective combination of salary and on-the-court efficiency. Having a 240k center doesn't interest me in the slightest; having a team that can beat far more expensive teams does. Again, I'm willing to fail at this, but I'd at least like to give it a shot and prove myself wrong before I give up on the project.

AMAZING PICKUP.... however. I would sell him. Due to his amazing potential and the fact that you are still in a lowish league i don't think you can build this guy up to be the best player that he can be. You could always train him some and sell him later but with his skillsets, if you sold him now you could easily pickup 2 million bucks in my opinion. Then you could do three things

1. Buy another rookie or two with a little lower potentials (P.allstar-Superstar probably the best)
2. Expand you arena
3. Buy one or two key pieces for your team.

Selling him could really benefit your team more than if you kept him in my opinion.
