Chris Paul
Jump Shot: proficient Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: average Handling: prolific
Driving: strong Passing: legendary
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: prominent Free Throw: proficient

CP3 is leading in steals in NBA, almost 3 STPG. I wonder what skills above help to achive that? Average OD, prolific HN? Seems to low...

do you think that +/- stuff helps understanding the game..?
i don't find it useful..

Yes, over time, I think its possible to determine whose make positive and negative contributions to the team.

so, you guys can tell me how to use it..
what should i think when i see a boxscore like this..? --> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore;_ylt=Atm7sOCBWiv1gbz...

Well, its like any other basketball statistic -- if a guy goes 1-6 from the field, I don't bench him. But over the course of a number of games, if the guys has an unusually good or bad +/-, then I begin to think he might be contributing something that some of the other stats don't measure (usually defense, decision-making or something).
