you will not be able to have him never shoot 3s, particularly as a guard. Even with inside tactics; sometimes it's useful to be able to sink a 3. He doesn't need to become your best sniper - but at least proficient JR will be necessary unless you really want a SF with good handling and passing and little inside defense, because that is what you will get that way.

Currently I've done a bit of 1 one 1, but plan on much of the rest of this season to be OD. Maybe a passing week, and another 1 on 1 to try and improve Hansen's driving and passing. But I'm open to any suggestions.

I would make Hansen into a SG and Henley into a PG. Training them both in OD for the rest of the season sounds like a good plan, and some Passing won't hurt either. You'll want to train FTs during the Allstar Week to improve Henleys FTs though. Wait with the 1 on 1 until you train JS, which should come after their OD, JR and Passing are where you want them to be (so perhaps in two seasons...) and then get two additional trainees who also need JS and/or Driving.

Thanks Mathcorejay.

Curious about why Henley's not a SF candidate, purely due to my own ignorance. Is he too old relative to starting skills? Too short, given his "unspecial" inside skills?

Thanks Manon.

I was planning on training the guard side skills of the possible SF guy Henley, and then in a few seasons work a bit on inside skills while training a big guy(s). But I agree that SG Hansen is a much better overall prospect, and am focusing on training him. I picked up Hanley for 5K just as another guy to train.

How do people train SFs then? Rotate all through the inside and outside skills, or focus on one and then the other?
