This is really encouraging! Reading through this thread was fun and brought me amazement in abundance. Goes to show we have very good potential managers in Div II. You guys are really full of enthusiasm. Really makes me consider dropping down to your division next season. I am only in MBBA by virtue of starting BB in Season 3. I guess if you guys have started as early as I did, all of you would have been giant teams in MBBA while my team would languish in div II.

At the speed that you are developing I firmly believe MBBA would be a very competitive league (not that it is not right now). Due to its competitive nature, most MBBA teams have to somewhat sacrifice on the development of players. In most weeks we have to max out on our starters with little consideration for the back-ups, especially in the early weeks of the season. Not to mention we normally get lousy drafts every season.

This season I am really considering selling off all my top players for whatever price I can get and start focusing on training 18 and 19yo next season in div II. Don't worry, I won't bring along my starters into div II. I missed having players in our U-21. I have already trained Farid to be better than my previous Musa and at the rate Farid is going, he will be even better this season. Hopefully if and when I release him, another team can maximise his potential for our NT.

In TL hard to get a better Malaysia trainee recently. How to train 18 & 19yo player?
I think we need to find out a better way to promote BB to others, more active manager can help a lot in our NT scout in maybe few season later.

think forums are getting more active... which is a good way to get more users... and more importantly to get them to stay... like Terfu said... people who connect with the community tend to stay as managers :)

but yea... still need more managers lor

i tried promoting BB to my schoolmates....i didnt know whether tey joined or not....
but i think the problems is that the new managers tend to be be interested in BB for some weeks only cuz they probably lose their matches and as we all know.... almost all malaysian juz cant handle losing(especially malays....including me)...furthermore basketball is not a very popular sports to malays(mostly like football)....i see majority of basketball guyz in malaysia are chinese.....followed by indians...
losing many matches will cause them to either stop BB or creating a new team(violating the rulez - get banned)
last week i saw an amazing increase in managers.... from 110 to 127....then a few days later.....the numbers dropped to 117..
will malaysia have managers more than 200???
this post is not meant to offend any races.... no hard feeling to all Malaysians...

Terfu:
lol
maybe can put about 100 flers at akira n apollo...

with draft changes this season, it was announced that bots would have followed a process much more similar to human managers and would have had better draftees. It was the last kick to go away from South Africa (I should change my nick...), as the minimal number of draftees would have been reduced by good bots picks ^^

not to seem negative, but my understanding is that training is still suboptimal, not being widely monorole, neither in MBBA nor in II/III series. The symptoms is the level of 21 yrs old players. May be wrong, as being a symptom, but likely.

If II/III push hard on training, MBBA will become far more competitive, otherwise promoted teams would defeat incumbent ones

at this moment, first week matches evaluation are similar to low-II/high III in Italy, just to give you a reference point, where incomes are far lower and is more difficult to manage growth.

This is just to stimulate all of you: look at most compettiive countries, aim to their levels. Challenges accelerate growth.

And I love reading about people who aim high as you.
