the wang has clearly plunged my team into a financial crisis - he better be worth it in the long run, hard to run a team of australian asians they seem to break too easily, i need to get nuygen back he was more reliable

in the last 2 months i have had 3 sales total 2 million and 2 buys total 1.2 million but i spent a lot of the rest on arena and staff - got level 6 trainer and 16k seats now so i have the great fun of looking at all the empty seats to cheer me up when i see wangs broken body

and for some reason i really thought this season was my time to get a good draft pick, rabidcamel did a splitj and totally tricked me into thinking it was a good draft pool

season 10 crap
season 11 crap
season 12 crap
season 13 crap
season 14 crap
so for some reason i thought season 15 wouldnt be crap, everyone else gets good draft picks, i dont want much, just not stupidly tall, pathetic skills or hopeless potential

i have spent 20k on scouting every week from season 10

6 seasons x 14 weeks x 20k a week = $1,680,000 and all i want is a guy of the quality you can buy on the tl for 100k or less, marmots had me excited...the draft pool looked great...

I haven't scouted for so long that I forgot when I stopped. I've seen a few with scouting success, but alot not so great. I rather save that money and buy a player from TL every 2 or 3 seasons. 2 seasons = 560k, 3 is 840k and when you spend your money you'll get what you want.

i thought it was a good draft pool the stupid balls tricked me too i spent 40K every week stupid draft gave me crap in return i am steamed very unimpressed arrgghhhhhhh

and now I know why your broke, 20k a week on scouting for 5 seasons is a recipe for bankruptcy.

the way scouting is set up at the moment, it doesn't give you any incentive to spend that much money. I don't see why they can't reveal more detail about the players instead of balls.

You need to get your head out of tanking. lol
You see teams in NBA tanking for first pick all the time. Now with the salary floor in place I don't think it's that beneficial to tank while risking relegation.

I decided not to waste money on scouting a couple of season ago. Much better to save up and know what you are buying in the transfer market.

Well since it is such an acceptable form of strategy I might just tank this season. With how young my list is I will get good sale value, plus saving 200k pw at the salary floor, I'll be able to forget all about tactics and buy my way to promotion. The league will suffer as a result but since everyone is so understanding no one will care anyway...

Yes, that is correct. If promoting is what you are after, then you use the best and easiest strategy for this. While I find tanking very boring, so I have a different approach. Also tanking isn't that easy as it seems, not many can tank and promote. Look at Naker Virus, he has been tanking it for 2 seasons and yet to promote.
