I think the reason with highly unequal JS/JR is that the G is programmed to shoot based on their JS stat, however JR impacts their shots but not their shot decision. So a high JS G will take very contested shots while his JR doesnt back him up. In the mean time, a G with a lower JS stat that is similiar to his JR will shoot easier shots because he is programmed to think he wont make harder shots and therefore his JR backs him up equivalently too. Just a theory.

i am very very sure, that a guard consider his full shooting oppurtunity before he shots, that means, JS, JR situation and opposition(maybe weakens through flow)

First of all - I didn't know that You describes Your real SG, I thought that it is hypothetical ideal SG in Your opinion. Now I know why You are so nervous.

this will cost you 227K a week....but it is worth every penny.

No, it isn't worth.
Because if he had PS+10 then his salary would be the same ;-) Meanwhile he has PS-10.
And therefore he never made triple-double in career. Not so good for ideal SG in game ;-)
And therefore he isn't worth every penny of his salary, and he isn't ideal SG.
I can say more. If he had SB+15 (additionaly to PS+10) then his salary... would be still exactly the same ;-) And he should have chance to made few quadruple-doubles, maybe even quintuple-double and become the most famous player in game ;-) Meanwhile he never made even triple-double, what a shame.
When I check salary calculator I recognize that... if he had IS+10 (additionaly to two previous upgrades) then his salary would be still the same. And it isn't end, still I can find almost 10 next pops in the same salary ;-) After these pops You could say that he is worth every penny.

He isn't ideal SG in game. He isn't even in top-100 of the best SGs in game. I created player having his skills and added to my national database. And he is on 12th place in ranking of the best SGs in my country... And everybody knows that our perimeter isn't the best in BB (not yet).
So if he isn't in top-10 in my country he isn't in top-100 in whole BB-world.
And one more interesting thing. He would be only 12th SG in my country, but... he has higher salary than all our guards ;-)
It means he is ideal SG for Your opponents ;-) Because he steals Your cash and in this way he slows development of Your club.
Maybe if we count this stolen money as steals, then he did triple-double every week ;-)

Hahahahahahahahaha...weak. He would score more than your whole team. In fact he would...after looking at your team..I would beat you probably 88-41 with my NT player scoring 46 on your weak SG..hahahahahahaha..weak

In Your last league match on Tuesday You scored 93 points. Meanwhile I scored 116 ;-) So he wouldn't score more points than my whole team ;-) On last Saturday You scored less points than my club too ;-)

anywhere would be a win for me.....

I will beat You before 4th quarter will start ;-)

Man oh man....Your team is weak.....you had to CT a TIE just to get a win and then you are bragging about it...hahahahahahahahahah What does the S in SG stand for....it stands for SHOOTING guard..
Hey!! What's that noise....I think I hear your mama calling you...I think it is your bed time...
Back on subject...I think a 18 JS 14JR would be best....just saying.....My 16 JS 16 JR sometimes misses mid-range jumpers...

These posts are out of topic:

(193114.66)

Why didn't You write Your question about age after these posts? ;-)
In fact Your post is out of topic too ;-)
I added only few words to my post to comment these posts, because they aren't nice for me and my club. Almost all my post IS on topic because we talk about contribution of skills for guards. I wrote why this SG isn't ideal and I presented my arguments. It IS on topic. And my arguments weren't personal because (as I wrote above) I didn't know that we talk about real SG. Then YC started to laugh and talk about my club. Who cares my club? It IS out of topic...

Didn't read all the posts but take a look at this guy (6879068) he has 18+ js/jr and look at his 15 season stats when he played against strong competition only 41%fg ; 33%3pt ..Actually i looked at tl for +16 js/jr guys and its hard to find one with good % that plays agaisnt strong competition...

I didn't read all posts but from my experience i can say that FG% is extremely dependent on many factors not just JS. Some of those are:

- tactics employed (how well the tactics suit your player)
- offensive flow (passing of teammmates)
- JR, DV and IS depending on the types of shots taken (closely related to tactics employed)
- opposing defender OD (self-explanatory)
- pace (slow pace results in better shot attempts and better FG%)
- ST and EXP late in the game

All in all JS is not the "end all be all" skill for shooting but is still important. I have owned a player with low JS and i can tell you low JS is a huge problem.

I guess it depends on the type of offense you play?

Ideal SG for inside offense would be something like:

Jump Shot: prodigious Jump Range: wondrous
Outside Def.: legendary Handling: wondrous
Driving: prodigious Passing: wondrous
Inside Shot: proficient Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: respectable

obviously DR and PA is more important here. IS to go along with DR will draw a lot of fouls from SG without ID and SB. dont need that much JS and JR for him to thrive.

ideal SG for outside offense (RNG not motion):

Jump Shot: legendary Jump Range: stupendous
Outside Def.: legendary Handling: wondrous
Driving: wondrous Passing: sensational
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: respectable

I just think each offense differs too much from another aside from the LP and LI so you cant just make a SG suitable for all offense. isolation offense, you might need a 300-400k SG.
