Breaking News: Tonight, will be the last appearance of Bartholomeus Branas for Tool Belgium.

The bad news: We will miss our big guy, the season 21 MVP!
The good news: We finally start to earn some cash! We lose a 140k/week salary regarding our current weekly balance who's actually set on -20k€/week (after many many effort from -50k/week).
It means, if we don't replace him, that we gonna succeed to earn 100k€/week.
I hope the results will follow, Bala and Karamanis are starting to become competitive. It means as well, that Govaart André will stay with us another season, and our junior Wim Boulet has a lot of pressure in order to gain skills very quickly because nothing good will pop out from the draft as we didn't invest a single penny in it.

I'm of course very sad to loose Branas, but very happy with the new financial perspectives!

tbh, i'm not happy with you selling off Branas. with Branas you had a guard and the inside to be reckoned with, thus making you a hard opponent in a PO game.

Without Branas, that kinda changes. The fact that Branas will be leaving your tema is great news tho, because now you'll be able to free up some salary and win cash again. you still have to change some players ( Lemos especially) but it should give you more room to move financially. just remember what i said about bigs in our mails ;)

We know who will end on 5th and 8th spot. but all other spots could still change.

And in the other conference, the pressure is on SKW. Brussels Mussels could CT, they got nothign to lose and could win 100k without paying salaries next week if they beat SKW and have a first round exit. SKW has to save enthusiasm and has to manage it's GS cause it will face TBS in the conference finales ( unless we see a major upset).

TBS on the other hand is playing Laeken. Laeken has nothing to lose, so could play CT. So here too, TBS needs to make a decision, but the recent moves made, i think that TBS is more equiped for the PO's than SKW.

So there too, things could change very fast. And Saint Servais is playing Thomas Cook. Saint Servais need a win to be sure, but even in the event of a loss, they'll make the PO's provided that SKW win their game.

i haven't seen a league that could see so many changes at the end of the league. Many teams are gonna have to make decisions. i wonder how it will end.

in the meanwhile, i think i'm gonna spend every spare minute i got on the TL trying to find the players that Falco could be buying :D

I have 2 starters injuried as well.
My PG Ochoa and my SF Zunchedu.
And guess what? I won yesterday against C4C with a TIE...crazy.
I didn't have any single injury during almost 2 season, and I have a Lvl 1 doctor.
So, maybe you are right regarding the coincidence between periods.

dang, that reallly hurts for a team like yours... I'm just hoping that i've had my share of injuries. Very few things have gone my way this season. I've been beaten by Armstorngs in a very weird and unfair way at the start of the season, which forced me to play my starters twice right from the get go, ending up in poor GS and a loss against Beerschot Bears.

And just when the pieces finally started to fall in the right place, i got a tidal wave of injuries, hittig both my MVP candidates ( and thus removing them from a shot at the MVP if you follow the MVP logic that a player has to have played alll or all but one game in the league) and if things weren't bad enough, i lost a back up bigman aswell, stretching my minutes at all positions while i'm still trying to get my other guy's back in shape...

I want to return to the BBBL. i got a fun team to work with, and room to improve. i've got a couple of youngsters that are really starting to come into their own in this league. But most of all, i've got a NT guard, who's starving for some BBBL action and if i can't promote, i'd have a minor problem concerning how to move on from here...

i'd need to seel either Marichal or Corman, and that means i'm selling off a trainee either way. I won't get a fair price for Marichal, but he's my biggest burden. not selling him means i'll be going break even again for a season, probably only delaying the inevitatble of having to sell him off.

Futhermore, selling of Marichal would kinda defeat the purpose of demoting form BBBL. i demoted to train Marichal... if i gotta sell him without repromoting, then that would be a real downer...

lol. PL. i would sacrific PL games if it meant me getting another 100 to 150k extra without paying salaries.

made my calculations yesterday when the rankings weren't updated yet.

anyhow, it does change quite a lot. Cook will play TIe and save enthusiasm. So Saint Servais should win that game. However Coenck has once again played 96 minutes this week, so his GS will be off. Servais got a reason to CT and they'll have low GS, so they'll go for that first spot. Question is, will TBS win by enough points to close get over the point differential.

For SKW, the calculation is simple. Saint Servais should win. Meaning that if They beat you, they'll keep a shot at ending first, BUT saint Servais are sure to be 4th. That means that they'll be first team will be facing Saint Servais, who will have poor GS. So first spot should be interesting. they'll keep HCA against the other team which is important. playing Servais in poor shape or playing armstrong shouldn't be that different.

Now i'm assuming that TBS will want that first spot and will play Normal. even with Laeken CTing, if TBS plays his starters and play normal, they should get about 30 to 36 minutes and he should win by a margin between 30 and 40 points. SKW has a 26 point advantage over TBS. That means that SKW must secure a win against Bxl Mussels and hope it to be high enough. That means that SKW should play normal and hope for a large enough victory.

If Laeken CTed recently, then TBs could win by more. so SKW will have to check that out for themselves.

If SKW wins, but loses on PD to TBS, then SKw loses HCA and faces Armstrongs, while TBS has a game vs the poor in shape Servais. If SKw loses, they'll be playing Armstrongs either way, but will have saved enthusiasm at the very least, while TBS had to push for that enthusiasm.

still remains the same tho. Only the roles of Bxl Mussels and Servais are inversed.

anyhow, many teams face many choices.

Falco has made his first move.

unless if Falco is actually paying a decent trainer lvl or if his merchandise is lower than anticipated, then he should be sitting on 1.3M cash still.

i'm expecting atleast one more player. I've got my potential moves planned out.
