Look, they went away from the game at its peak, and now we have the situation as it is. Development stopped and the userbase is shrinking for years now. You dont walk away from a business like that, at least you fill the vacant positions with persons that will continue where you left. Its not an obligation, but its a bad decision.

I dont call you an animal, it just is a way of speech. They did get three new developers. Two of them though dropped out because of different reasons. So they did indeed try to get a new team running.
Everyone with clear senses will also see that a real job will always go before something like this.

Developing a game is a "real" job. Just ask the guys at Zynga.

Well, considering he's from Sweden and that's where Carl Linneaus came up with the classification that everything was animal, vegetable or mineral, it's not at all shocking. Unless you're a turnip or a lump of quartz, for example, in which case please accept my apologies.

I dont know what Zynga is. I dont know how much money there is to be made on a game like this but i hardly think it is anything you provide a family on.

Do you agree? Naturally you don't because I gave no reasons. Merely stating a belief is worth nothing.

If the original creators are like me and my friends with our game they probably care a little but not enough to actually do anything. That is their right. Naturally I think they should take the small risk and get another BB or three to do some work on the game.

I don't buy products out of pity. I buy what I want and play what I want. I think they have a great product here so I am happy to play and pay. I think it could and should be improved (as the changes seem so easy and obvious*) but if there was something better I would be playing it instead.


As a person who has been involved with game design I know my programmers always looked for the easy way to fix things. Some things on our wish list were trivial and some were very hard. I would have assumed changing the GE is easy, just tweak some numbers on some of the inputs to make LI less effective and 2/3 zone more effective and problem solved.

I can't see why it would be hard but if that was hard then I would tackle something that I know would be utterly easy, change the salary formula. I know this wont fix things for National Teams but it will for the rest of us and as player builds changed the players would evolve.
