On a side note it's interesting how guessing right boosted your OD to 16 for a team.

As a second side note I forgot to set my lineup for the third time this season.

Yep. For the record (in case it'll help everyone else), with the minutes breakdown I had CP has it estimated at wondrous (high), so it's well over a level of boost. Maybe on the order of 10%. The ID was predicted at strong (low).

Either way the whole thing is ridiculous.

Yep, it seems that the foul discrepancy played a big role in that game too. Speaking of fouls, I would like to know how the fouls break down on home/away games.

Agreed, hence trying to use it to loose by as much as possible and make that point. Of course, my whole season almost backfired when I almost beat Reston last night.

The foul discrepancy isn't entirely unexpected because I know Busch is a slappy little sumbitch. Usually and especially against worse players, though, but sometimes against better players as well he's a foul dispenser. But that's the specific reason I went 1-3-1 - I figured he'd burn some fouls up on Mobile, maybe on a couple drives, but it'd keep him away from the basket instead of out on the perimeter. Instead, apparently, he and Klein both decided that their primary position was defending the PG on the perimeter - to the tune of half of the jumpers attempted by the PG (excluding the one completely open one) were contested by my C. I mean, even then I figure 10 OD would be enough to, I dunno, not be an automatic foul/make, but who knows.

I've had a night about this and I don't want this to sound like any disrespect toward DP, because I put a shit-ton of time into this specific alignment and lineup specifically because his team is damn good. I knew with just a C and a little contribution from PF I'd be close to or better than even at rebounding; I knew that I'd have a credible enough inside defense against anything other than an inside offense. I knew I'd be able to have close to the same level of outside attack and I knew I'd have a significantly better OD. The player that was supposed to be the primary defender at OD on Bilbija was supposed to be my best perimeter defender. I look at the tatings, look at the PP100 and know what I know about how I set up the defense and I feel like this should be a win 99 times out of 100. Clearly this was either that one time or Bilbija has a "pick who defends me" card in his back pocket.

I've stolen enough games the other direction that it's not like there's really anything I can do but chalk it up to the other column, congratulate DP on a win that I might feel was undeserved but was only possible because he has a fine team that he aligned properly as well, and just make sure that the rest of you bastardos get to feel the retribution. If my fans haven't bombed the arena before then.

Well, I'm just going to admit it. Visionaries are better at tanking than I am and are going to earn the #1 pick in the draft, I just don't think I can loose worse than they are the rest of the season. Truth be told, I'm getting really sick of getting my butt kicked night in and night out and am really struggling with playing to loose.

If you don't want to do it, of course, don't do it, but don't worry about the point differential - you just need to figure out how to lose to them when you go head to head and not forfeit or win any other games and you'll get the #1 pick. Of course, it's challenges like that which make the competition so tough for that top spot!

It may require a three man lineup with sub 1k salaries playing Princeton FCP. You are going to want to CT your previous three opponents to get that enthusiasm down around 2. For good measure, blank your lineup but play strictly follow depth chart.

No, Princeton is for winners. If you want to channel the spirit of the loser, you need an isolation offense.

If you want to go back to your defeatist attitude though, I do have road court disadvantage for our loser-takes-all showdown
