Too lazy to compete this season, I think I'm just gonna bottom out. Too much effort finding the right players for my system LOL.

Idk whether i wanna get demoted back to div 2 though, it was pretty difficult to get here but I'm honestly not bothered...

I think you could have competed and survived but one of the biggest mistakes you made was not changing your arena prices. Newly promoted teams can easily get 600k in attendance with the right arena size but you are earning 400k which is awful. Not only is it hurting your survival chances, it means you could have earned way more even when tanking. Even if you aren't going to bother this season, I suggest you fix your arena up for future promotion back to the ABBL...

I can see where he is coming from. From time to time we all couldnt be bothered for one reason or another. Motivation peaks and dives and so does effort.

His arena prices are a reflection of his motivation atm which is a care factor of zero.

Heck I havent changed my arena prices for 2 maybe 3 seasons and just recently have i changed them as well as firing my staff who were way overpaid.

I also paid little attention to my utopian team. All thats about to change now.

Haha, it happens but normally the newer promoted teams are more motivated. Us veterans have been there done that and it's very easy to not have a goal anymore.

Yeah, SN13 would do well to fix up his arena for next time. Might even be worth tanking and dropping, so he can invest in the arena, max it out, then setup prices properly next time he promotes.

As for my motivation? Meh, wish I could say that I want to be B3 champ for the next 25 seasons, but I think at the moment it extends as far as Dwight's career. Drafted him in my first ever draft, and he's the main reason I'm throwing myself into League and Cup contention so heavily this season.

Once he's gone for one reason or another, not sure what we're going to do ...

Agreed, after soo many seasons trying to get up I am full of energy for BB once more, only time will tell if my spending will be worth it or futile..

Despite the freakish blowout loss to Kobe Resurgents (who deserved to win, just not by that margin), I'm happy with the way this season has started, especially with all the other title contenders this season also losing at least once now too. Having to play Hard Ball Gets away in a TV game later this season is a real sucker punch though.

It's going to be a very interesting season. Lot's of good teams right now from top to bottom (seriously, did anyone expect Yarra Park to beat Rimmers!?), and several examples of teams doing better/worse than I expected them too so far this season...

Haha thanks for the tip - I wasn't aware prices could go up so much. I did put up my prices just not by a large margin. I will get to that now :P

As far as motivation goes - I think a lot of it revolves around what im doing IRL. Just a large workload atm and not really bothered to log in and check things and spend time finding and bidding on a player.
