I have the same problem.

Today I´ll play home the first match after promoting and the "current season" item is on 0.5, hence affecting the overall result of the poll.

Same here, for both teams.

I'm still trying to figure out why the fan survey is sometimes showing these issues. I'm constantly changing it bit by bit and checking if it's getting any better, but it's a pretty complicated code so please bear with me and continue to report possible issues as you see them, you will help me tune it better.

As for the half a ball issue, I believe it was just display related as the data showed default values. I'll check if it's just a frontend problem now.

Buying a player can negatively affect fan survey. It may not make sense really, so we may need to change that in the fan survey overhaul.

It due to the fact how player "loyalty" (probably not the most precise term for this but I currently lack a better one) is calculated. The longer the player is on the team, the higher his "loyalty" and positive effect on fan survey. Also, his salary plays a part in that calculation there too. To calculate all of the players "loyalty", an average is calculated weighted on the salaries, so a new player with a bigger salary could then actually lower the loyalty factor. It is somewhat offset by the "manager trying hard" factor but obviously not enough. I've probably already said too much but it does explain the illogical way it works.
