Also, how do you guys decide which questions get an answer?

I'm hoping Marin comes back to answer the questions that arrived since his last group of answers.

Is there any hope left for this?
Also, I wasn't referring to new questions since the last ansers, but older questions that haven't received an answer.
I sent my questions to BB-Will but I haven't seen them posted here and I wondered if they were relayed to you and Marin at all.

Thank you for answering our questions regarding the game. As a developer myself, I heavily feel the pressure you guys are in right now considering the complicated infrastructure of how the game is built (since this is an old game), perhaps the lack of resources, time, and funds flowing into the game, or the mental struggle of having motivation to continue developing. Maybe there's also personal problems and for all of that, I really wish you guys well. Despite a lot of tough questions, deep down we do appreciate what you guys are doing.

Other than that, since this thread is about "asking anything" which is not exclusive to the game, here's my questions:

1. Who do you think will win the NBA Finals this season?
2. Who are your current favorite players right now?
3. Do you think Victor Wembanyama will score 100 points in the future?

Thank you Justin for addressing that question. However, just to clarify a bit:

Team defense ratings affect all shots.

...this surely doesn't apply to directly contested shots, but it would definitely follow from this that open, assisted shots need to overcome the team defense rating.

It affects ALL shots. Even if the play by play mentions a single defender.

Is any of the following true;

1. "Team inside defense rating" effects all actions except back-court turnovers?

2. Team ratings (box scrore) equals sum of "team effort" (variables used in GE logic) divided by num of actions?

3. Num of actions equals 48*60*x?
3.1 x = 1?

The changes to foul outs were mentioned in a recent post. What is the percentage of foul outs now compared to before the change?

On a related note, what has been the increase of assisted shots, and also what has been the increase in points scored in games since the change to assists in the last few seasons?

If you are not aware of the exact numbers, why not? When changes are made they must be tracked to see if the effect is too much or too little.
