The way I was thinking is that it gives more of an option to people who been playing the game longer. I mean, the new owners pretty much can do it(sign veterans) if they want but it is not necessary. The option is going to the young roster to grabbing one or two to develop and have vets as the rest of the players. I don't think it is pointless at all, guess how many NBA teams have veterans on there rosters just riding the pine. I don't know, maybe we should limit it to starters and higher. I do like the own skill set comment too.

I have a feeling this game is going to get more complex in the future and what is wrong with having a game that keeps you guessing. I would like to see more options you can have on each level of division.

Your right that this needs a little more thinking and anyone else have suggestions to this, bring it to the table. Maybe we can tweak this.

This is not a great example,this situation exist also in BB,you can have in your roster some old player that you could use in scrimmage and can play in emercency situation also in championship game.

and in a few season we will have old players, on the highest competion level so that very much top team use then as starters.

But this will yet happened in the next seasons,now the players born with high potential are reaching their maximum level and it will be not easy to going over them

until they retire? Why not have a legacy player to influence a player on the rise. I am thinking these players should have some kind of value up until they do retire. More often then not they are going to be sent to the transfer line. Maybe this way there can be a little more reasoning to sending them or not.

So I will buy 30some years old players up to 30 players per roster to make my training as much efficient as I could. Great. This way there could be scarcity of those on market - resulting in overpaying like for trainers now. This is a potential way to make the gap wider, so I would pass.

...but that can be tweaked too. lol. let's say a certain amount of players can be used for training. Set a limit to the top 5 or the top 3 percentages. I know there is a lot of holes in my idea, but there are also ways to patch to holes up. I know this is geared mostly on training the young guys faster, but I think the older guys should be able to benefit to a lesser degree from the training too.
