Oops, I was talking about all other possible translations of the names except the ones in the schedule. Didn't realise it was in the schedule page as well.

Sounds good. We have Mahti in the Finnish version. I guess it's about the same as Macht, meaning something like might.

it is funny how people translate things. they made the words macht and kracht match, but macht means power. And doesnt even come close to Big or Great...

this is just fyi and not a complaint before people go into defense mode...

hehe, macht means power, kracht means power as well.
Just different meanings of power (i.e strength and the ability to make people do things).
Big and Great got the same meaning as well, so that's what links the translation to the original text.

For things like this LA's can surely use their creativity.

kracht means strength and not power :)

big and great in my opinion dont have the same meaning either. Big is like tall, massive. Great is more like an expression on how something is beautiful, or big...

yes thats why i said, it isnt criticism, but up to the choice off the LA to translate it...

Yeah I understand, many words got different meanings for just that single word.

Big and Great or both translated into the same dutch word "Groot", covers many explanations of Big and Great.

Just as kracht =/= macht, but Power may mean kracht (the horsepower of a car (paardenkracht)) and macht (the ability to make people to things)
