mmh i just see player with maximum of 2.4 Blocks not 3-4 ;)(which is actually very good) And then you had to think, that some of this shot will miss anyway.

if i watch the first player he have on page one 1,75 blocks in Cup and friendlys - and sometimes those stats go wild if you play against scrappy opponenents. And if i already win with 30 points, those 2 extra blocks aren't important for me, he had to act well against opponents who are close to my team.

Edit: (4599819) - this is a blocking 14 center

And this is a blocking 8 Center. (4599813)
If he would have +4 in Blocking I guess he'd get about 30k more salary. For what? 1,5 more Blocks per game? ;)

+X maybe some affected shots who has a lower chanche to get in, blocks are the only ones who get reduced to zero.

The question is how big is the X, before we can say if it's worthy.

I really don't know why two Centers should need some Driving?

I'd train Inside Shot, Inside Def and of course Rebounding. Driving is not really an important skill and Shot Blocking is nothing but expensive for me.

I am with u on that. Actually JS/PA for my are the most important secondary skills for the big men. DR, is also waste for them

FWIW, 4 of my 5 bigmen have strong+ in blocks, that resulted in my team being second with most blocks in the season. I don't agree that block skill is somewhat useless, but, I think that the block skill still has a limited role... and can never be (yet) a factor in winning a game... which is sad.

Thx for the comment .
I always like to hear from GMs & experience player so that I can learn from them .
As a newcomer I will appreciate it a lot if you or other GMs can give me their opinion about the important skills not only for Centers but also for other positions too ...
Thanks in advance

This is a guide for new players, written by a game veteran. It's not part of the official game rules, and the assessment there is definitely subjective.

i think it should be pointed out there, too. Because this is one of the threads i really "hate" here, because i think on one hand he is "wrong" in several points and in the other hand it#s an sticky with the comment "newbies read here first". And if newbies rate IS as important then OD for their shooting guard, i am pretty sure they made an fault.
