I love these write ups so good work on them. I'm more interested in seeing what happens after the salary update and we can get an idea of how much these guys have improved.

I agree, love the write-ups. Good to see Claude Yang up on your radar. Do you really think he's SF material though, he's got pitiful IS and he's 6'2". Let me know, because I may sell him at some point to someone who's interested in bumping up his inside skills.

It's nice to see that 2 of my draft picks have been trained well by the teams that bought them from me right after the draft.

I agree that these write ups are really good and its nice to see that last season's draft picks are coming along so well and that we seem to have a large pool that are being trained.

Chuck, I can see your point about turning Gaize into a SF but I'm not sold on the real benefits. At only 6"0 tall its not going to be that efficient trying to train up his inside skills (and his ID is at awful) and given that I have Numbers Ali being on the fringes of U21 selection as a SF already I don't know exactly how much sense it makes for my Rockets to be training two guys to play at the same position. BBmail me with your response and lets keep our fingers crossed that the upcoming draft produces a bumper crop of talent like the last one seems to have done!

I agree and disagree with RIP... The reason I'm pushing for Gaize to be trained at SF is really for Ali. Gaize might make the U21 as a SG, but as you can see there are already players ahead of him. I suspect he would make the team but probably only as a back-up. Of course, if you kept training him, his potential makes him an NT prospect, but that's another story.

Personally, I really don't see the issue of height on SFs (Wendon is 6'10", a bad height for training outside skills). Sure, he will train inside skills slower but the outside skills will train much faster. He is already quite balanced inside and you don't have to bring his inside skills that high - just look at a guy like Bellara, the U21's current starting SF.

Ali making the team as a SF is pretty much a lock if you train him that way. Actually, he probably makes the team at SF no matter what, but would not be as effective with only SG training. Of course, his potential is an issue, but not a big one in my mind. You just have to look at a guy like Wendon to see what can be done with allstar potential.

But it is your choice, of course. If you want to discuss it further over BB-mail, hit me up.

Missed this earlier, sorry. Everything here is based purely on the current skills of the player. I don't have height on my tracking list, so I did not even consider it.

As with Gaize, he could be turned into an outside focused SF. Or you could just continue training him as a SG. If I rated him as a SG, he would definitely bump someone out of the top 3. I'm not sure if I would put him ahead of Keogh, but he is slightly better than Granger.

On the other hand, both Gaize and Yang have one inside skill that is on the low side, which would make the transition to SF difficult or impossible. So maybe RIP is right.

Have I been vague enough for tonight? I guess in general I would have to say to you and O-Rod: just do what you feel is right, both Gaize and Yang are getting great training as it is.

It's nice to see so many "saved" players that have made the grade.

Which ones were your saved players? I didn't keep track to be honest but would be interested to see how they progress. My saved player isn't really close to making the cut, just shows you what I know.

3 out of 5 is a pretty good ratio... Hopefully I can do the same in season 11 and improve on my 0 for 1 so far. I'll be hitting you up for advice on the candidates if you don't mind.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I think I am probably going to be selling Hassan (10638394) within the next few weeks. He's a decent PF prospect. I also have been training a well rounded 19 y/o Canadian SF who is probably going to go up on the auction block as well. You can send me a message if you want to see either of their stats, but I thought I would post here because if Hassan has a chance to contend for the U21 team I would like to see him go to a Canadian manager.
