In all likelihood, this is a match viewer bug which doesn't really affect game simulation...

If so, how do you explain the fact that after my coach called for timeout, 25 seconds before the end of the game, in the very next report after the timeout was called, my opponent appears to be in possession of the ball?
Wouldn't ball be in my possession if my coach called a timeout? If that is not an obstruction of the game, then I don't know what it is :c

You are in possession of the ball. The shot clock is on your side of the screen and your player (Pryor) takes the shot. The viewer incorrectly shows the opposition player (Avalos) as making a pass, while in reality he blocks the shot.

This is strictly an error in the way the match viewer converts what's been fed to it by the game engine into game commentary. The box score (both within the viewer, and after the game) correctly attributes a missed shot to Pryor and a block to Avalos.

And while viewer bugs are, at least for me, by far the most annoying ones in BB, this problem is strictly presentational and does not affect the results of games.

And how can you be so sure of that? What was suppose to be the correct line? I'm trying to think real hard, but nothing that makes sense comes to mind.
I mean, no offense, I'm well aware that you know a way more about this subject than I do, but as far as I understood this is a brand new feature, so again, how can you be so positive? You even said it yourself that you're still awaiting on confirmation from BB. Besides, it's not like this is the first time game engine malfunctions, right? You have been here long enough; you know that very well.
I'm not a very technical guy, but I noticed that in this particular game my opponent had more blocks than in our previous two encounters combined. Now, don't you find that to be just a bit strange? Like just a bit? That in the game when this comment bug occurred for the very first time, and apparently as a part of implementing this new block feature, he has a more blocks then in our previous two encounters combined? I find it strange.

I don't know, man; I mean, am I upset to lose the game in a fashion I did? Yes, of course, I'm upset, I had both better team and home court advantage, BUT believe me, that is not the reason behind this particular complain, if this is even a complain (it's rather a mere pointing out at apparent malfunction in the game). And the loss really don't matter; what matters is the fact that something in the game was malfunctioning, and THAT makes the outcome of game questionable, no matter what you say.

I think the only fair solution would be to re-run the game. And, of course, to remove this new feature for now. I don't even understand why BB had to implement it this late in the season. Isn't the mid-season a perfect time to run tests?

Similar thing happened to me in my game early on, like you said it may just be a match viewer bug but in this case my player didn't block the shot the other player just missed it.

Also just btw i like the addition of the rebounds where sometimes it goes off a player and out or directly out etc.

But i do think that it shouldn't count as a TO if off a player as they haven't technically lost the ball they never really had control, just my thoughts

I don't exactly understand what are you complaining about. He CT-d you Normaled+ he got tactics spot on. I do not know either of your enthusiasm numbers, but his win was not even close to impossible, it might of even been probable.

i know thats its a match viewer problem because we just changed the GE this morning, and changing the match viewer can't change the simulation results. So there is no way this blocked shot line changed the result. Its a presentational bug that needs to be fixed, and when its fixed you'll see that the result of the game is not changed, but suddenly the commentary will make sense.

No problem. I didn't want to make this into a bigger deal than it is; it's just that it felt wrong, if you understand what I mean.
If I lost a game, exact same way as I did, but with no controversy in terms of game report, believe me, I would not make a single comment here. I hope you understand that, and I thank you for looking up into this thing and clarifying it for us.

The display bug where it says a player passes to the other team before a block has now been fixed. Please confirm that the examples you posted in this thread now function correctly (with the previous pass becoming a defense instead).

Thanks for your patience with the match viewer changes.
