Actually to me, I'm pretty alright with most of the current system. With one exception. it doesn't make sense why you would invite a player with a 2 ball potential to 'scout' them a second time. Thats my major grumble at the moment, when players with not star potential are brought back for a very pointless second scouting. Plus the game stats are pretty pointless from what i've been reading in the boards.

Okay so thats two exceptions.

Really? What the heck. Im watching my scrimmage from yesterday right now and none of this is happening. doesn't even tell you when you are blocked.

Is it being beta tested on supporters? I'm watching a game now and I see the different descriptions... I'm not kidding or pulling your leg mate..

edit: try clearing cache and watching it again?

The rebounding out of bounds thing is the only thing I've seen in a quarter of play.

This is from my last scrimmage game (Yes, I'm supporter):

"J. Haluniak (H) tried to grab the defensive rebound, but the ball went out of bounds."
"D. Popovici (H) glides to the hoop and tries to finish off the glass off of a nice pass from J. Haluniak (H). "
"K. Larsen (A) collects the rebound and goes back up for the shot, as rotates over to help defend the play. Shot blocked."
"D. Popovici (H) gets off a great pass to V. Cameira (H). V. Cameira (H) flies high above the rim and drops it in. Shot missed."
"The ball bounced off the top of the backboard and went out of bounds."
"Bodies go flying as K. Larsen (A) plows his way to the basket. Scored"
"J. Buźniak (H) gets off a great pass to D. Popovici (H). D. Popovici (H) slaps the backboard as he puts up the lay-in. Shot missed."

I can't remember having seen those lines before. Now, I'm getting a bit old so my memory is fading faster then last season....

A few of them were already there, others are new. I'm not a supporter and noticed them. The out of bounds rebounding were the most significant one, it adds some realism to the game. Not all the blocked shots get the message "Shot blocked". Some still get "Shot missed" and then you see in the boxscores that it was actually blocked. But they'll be fixing these small things along the way.

As for the scouting system, I agree with one of the previous comments. If a player looks hideous, why scout him again??? Maybe they will make the scouting system more flexible. For instance, you can tell your scouts that you're interested in drafting guards and that will get you more info on guards and less on big men. Maybe they'll show you the boxscores now and then and you get to choose which ones you want scouted again. Surely you would have seen enough of that Eddy Curry kind of guy, just send him home! :P

What was also new was that double doubles (and, I suppose, also triple doubles) were displayed in the game cast. However, there's a glitch in it: the Game Cast did display the wrong player having a double double in my match, telling me his direct opponent had had that success... hope that's fixed, too

Yeah you're right, I went back to game replay and noticed that. Also another glitch is that in the blocked shot messages the player who blocks the shot appears as making an assist to the guy who ends up blocked.
