In my experience Look Inside is the best offense to emphasize your SF. Especially if you have a small forward thats a traditional slashing type player - good driving and decent outside and inside scoring. By outside scoring I really mean more JS rather than JR. And if in addition he can pass the ball well, he could have a really big game.

Generally teams have better shooters at the SG position so in an outside offence the SG becomes the focal point, but if your SF is more of a pure shooter (with high JR + JS) he could very well be the one to take more shots depending on the matchup. However, thats more of an SG type SF than a real SF in my opinion.

hmm. i guess the question is do you want good stats for your sf or do you want to win the game? if you train a 'balanced sf' he will possibly not win his matchup by points/100 but will still contribute a lot to your teams performance.

2nd: training a balanced sf is no waste of time. but i guess it will take a lot of time and be aware he often has to play out of position for his develpment
