Guesses on the relegation matches?

Would be kinda fun to jump in the Big 8 side of this league after I stroll through D IV

I can say this, Candiia and Partridge are all that I have on this team. Cantrell is past the point of no return ... meaning, i cannot even sell him. Galvao Veiga Paz is useless at the beginning of the season and then when I attempt to sell him, he becomes useful. Typical Brazilian. Lowell Webber is nothing more than a role player at best right now.

Candia and Partridge are most likely gone after the season ... or at least Candia will be because I just cannot afford to keep their salaries. Chances are 70/30 that Candia leaves and 55/45 that Partridge leaves. Right now, Candia is more versatile so I may lean toward maximizing Partridge's value on the market since he is younger and Candia is no longer trainable and comes at a cheaper cost. The question then becomes who slides to Center or Power Forward because Candia was huge for me at PF for most of the season.

Right now, it's about surviving. I'm sitting on $74K in the bank right now but a playoff win means nothing at this point.

Players likely to move:
Partridge
Veiga Paz - if I can find a damn suitor, it's been six weeks now, lol, plus I think Teddy Titus is ready

I bought Candia with the intention of busting some heads through the league because I figured that my front court of Candia/Partridge combined with the outside talents of Cantrell/Veiga Paz would be forceful enough but Cantrell and Veiga Paz actually declined. My SF position is still unsettled after starting out with Titus Harvey so I could have a 3 bigs pretty much guarding the likes of Mannu/Ryan, or Beavers, Mayagoitia, Statovci. I planned but they couldn't deliver since Harvey's production declined and I was forced to start Webber back at SF when he's better off coming off the bench.

That was a good assesment of the upcoming games. It will be tough to beat the two big men. I will make sure my guys give it their best so should be interesting. Good luck everyone.

Illusion's road to finals is wide open, I can't see anyone stop them. However things are tougher on our side of the bracket. Any of the 4 teams can win the conference. Tachenko vs. Armageddons will also be another great match up. I still can't get how Tachenko found themselves in relegation battle. I had my fair share of injuries so far, and I don't want another on this stage of the season. Good luck to everyone!

what color are your pom-poms?
and how YELLOW are you?

you have the luxury of watching CC go at MM, who are two of your toughest opponents...meanwhile you play EC
and your crying..." ohh Illusion got it good, I got it bad".... Boo Hoo ....

you have way more enthusiasm ..at home ...while the other two will have a dog fight to beat each other ..

with that said, Illusion plays Goats. I've seen Goats beat better ...with some of those same guys.

Easy man, I am not crying. Illusion is the superior team on Great 8 but Big 8 is so strong that even Tachenko finished 7. I'd rather play Bangerz on playoffs than Flyers, Magic or Crazys.

Case in point... 3 of my 7 losses were pretty much throw away games as I cut payroll, got rid of Mannu and experimented with lineups. If I had this lineup all season I dare say Id have only 4 or five losses at the most

Hey Bangerz you might still have enough talent left on your aging roster to beat PCI but don't get it in your head that you can still compete with my boys. :P

Goats: glad to hear youre going to attempt to improve your roster once again, hopefully you can do it by keeping both Candia and Partridge because they are great players. Make sure you dont tell them this until after our game because i dont want them having the confidence that they can actually beat my squad.

I am surprised at how little talk there is about the relegation battles.

Tach v Arm, in particularly, is a very interesting battle.
