You could buy Bob for less than a million, so why don't you? Because you know, like all the other top managers that he simply isn't worth his massive wage. So you say no to Kobe becuase you already have Bynum and Fisher and that is much better.

because i don't have a million, and i won't buy such players in the off season, and i have the 4th cheapest rooster during the season and after the make over before the play off my paybill even shrinks again ;)

But we have and had some of those 400k centers in our league.

PS: the next point is, that Ferda is a cult figure in my rooster and deserved a starting spot for life and through his multiskills he isn't that bad.

Edit: i believe a team from my league selled Bob after one season with him, after loosing the PO. Another team have a 410k spanisch NT center in his roster, finished third in my divs but beats Laim away in the finals and he have bought the monster not instantly before the Po he bough him around ASD(and i don't think he is a shortime investment)

Then we also have a 330k italian NT center, in our league who played the full season ;) So i think you could use them, even when i don't expect to get very expensiv when you are buying them but i payed 7 mio for maybe the perfect club "PF", when i buy instead a 400k center for 1,5 Mio who get 250k more salary each week it takes a while before my way is the cheaper(and don't forget that my player lose a lot of value when he gets older^^), and the performance wouldn't be weaker even at PF. This is a possibility for just promoted team, to get competive because nowaday the just promoted teams are mostly the next demoted teams because the step betwen first and second league is big.

I have no plans to stalk you but I think if I deserved to get a rude comment from you, than I could as well return the favor as soon as possible.

I know a division 5 guys has no say in this, but those salaries need to be cut down. Almost no one can aford 500K a week.

the salary formula is ridiculous. but the BBs think it is ok, so very remote chances of this being changed in the future.

make yourself a salary cap for your team and go ahead. i have now 10 players with wages varying from 19k to 97k, 5 starters and 5 very good backups, no star, I hope to fight for the title of the Brazilian National League next season. just adapt yourself to this nonsense situation and be happy. they are not going to change this bizarre salary formula.

If, for the sake of argument, the NT's had a salary cap these players wouldnt be on those teams either. In most cases.

Well put. In BB players with level 14 abilities are MUCH better for any team than players with level 20. Kobe, Lebron, Duncan, Dwight go home, no-one wants you in this bizarre world.

I think you see a problem where none exists.

The best paid players are more often than not, not the best players. The best players are the players with the most skills, not with the highest salary.

Consider this though, if I get a great 18 year old and start training him with great secondaries as well, then by the time he is 22 he could have a salary over 150k. And he still has 2 or 3 seasons of decent training left. However, if I trained him one more season until he turns 23, then his salary will jump to 250k, and suddenly his value is less. More people would have paid more money for him with 150k salary than 250k salary.

My point is, that this player will hit his prime around half way through 22 and any training after that makes it inefficient for your team.
And something needs to be done about the Centers with 500k salary that switch teams every week. the fact that the player switches teams every week is because no one can afford to have them on the team (either money or it would hurt their team). However, national teams still have this player on their national teams....so obviously someone thinks that these players are indeed "the best players".
