If your exceptional trainer has 50k salary, it's definitely better to buy a superior trainer with 20k salary, save for one season, and get another exceptional trainer for 25k for the next season...

So what should I invest in? Bleachers court-side or what?? I have 500k right now, I think I can blow all of it on my arena and still promote with the roster I have. I already make ~125k a week from attendance which is 20k above the league average, how much does it need to improve? 10k-12.5k seats would be very expensive...

I would go with 1250 bleachers and 350 lower tier... thats 495k. then keep pumping into your arena every extra penny you get this season.

Its not like you get a 50k/week profit for that extra training.

thats not exactly true.... i've got a bunch of 24 year old guards i need to squeeze the absolute max out of... also even if i can get one of those guys for say 300k (which would be a stunner) with severance fees thats 350k to save 20-30k a week.... That makes absolutely no sense while i'm in div III... i'll do it next season when i am on div II income.

I'm not sure if my roster can hold up in D.III... If I spend all 500k on my arena I'll need to hold onto enough cash for a big next season, if I'm comfortable my team can promote without any changes I can wait until next season for an upgrade, I guess for now I'll work on my arena

Your roster will be fine. Your match ratings suggest this and as soon as you go 22-0 you'll also know this

Arena is the way to go.

Well in all honesty it depends on what DIII you fall into. I feel I'm in probably the toughest DIII around. I have more than enough quality players and even then I'm sitting at an 0-5 record atm. Most games were lost by close single digit. Overall, all teams in my league are pretty even and every game is just too close to call. So, in the end truth is it all just depends where you fall.

Yes, some D.IIIs are much weaker than others. The speed with which a team promotes certainly relates to the hardiness of the divisions they were placed in.

As to your second point, I would like to point you to D.III.1. I would love to be in D.III.12.

I don't know about that. Looking at our leagues overall and a few of the other D.IIIs, III.12 looks to be the most balanced league out there, and therefore the toughest *for any team in it*. It's another way of looking at things at least.
