All right, whatever, all I was doing was poking a little fun at him for using the national forum to post something like this while there is a perfectly fine press release feature in this game, and even if you don't want to pony up for supporter a lot of people do it in their league forum, and then proclaiming his team "America's Team". It just seems a little arrogant to me.

Toccoa Panthers At Smurf Village Smurfs

Tonight will mark the second game of Season 17. The Panthers look to stay undefeated as they face another 1-0 squad, the Smurf Village Smurfs. We got an interview with Panther manager Buckeyefan01.

R- "How do you plan on stopping the outside attack of the Smurfs?"

B- "We recently added a great defender and shooter to our team. Hopefully he help slow down the attack."

R- "What are your plans for this season?"

B- "We want to win the championship and get out of D.IV. If we do not get out soon we might go bankrupt. We also are having to sell some players to get some cash in."

You can view the game live at http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/36170697/reportmatch.as.... Opening tip will be at 8 p.m.

As my six year old son has recently discovered the Smurfs and is heavily into them right now, I can give you some free scouting. Normally I'd say you have nothing to be concerned about, but panthers do fall into the general cat classification, and the Smurfs always seem to get the better of cats (case in point, Azreal, who I think is 0-38 against them). Of course, I think that is more a tactical failing; Azreal and Gargamel both seem to try isolation offenses when in reality all they should go is look inside as Smurfs, being short, are exceptionally unlikely to have adequate interior defense or rebounding.

Defensively, though, don't overcommit - Smurfs are known for their sharing and we know that if you double up on one of them, they'll find the open smurf to smurf the open J. The Full Court Press is right out, as they've demonstrated their ability to dominate scramble situations against Gargamel and Azreal. I'd probably go with a 1-3-1, again on the theory that they're not going to be able to do anything inside.

Please let me know if you're going to be playing against Scooby Doo later; I've been subjected to a lot of their tape recently too.

Wow! Best free scouting ever. I loved the 0-38 part.

Panthers Win Cup Game

Last night the Toccoa Panthers won their cup game against the Hopatcong Heights Saints in blowout fashion. The final score was 118-60. The player of the game goes to 21 year old Xiang Qiyan for his 22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assist, and 5 steals. The team also had great performences from the whole team, with three people having a double double (almost four).

The next cup game will be against a D.V opponent, Bombinos. Buckeyefan01 said that he wants the Panthers to stay in the cup as long as possible for the finacial boost. It looks like the Panthers will move on to round three of the cup.

The next league game is against Angerfist on Saturday at 8 p.m. Come out to The Panthers Grip to show your support.

I think I speak for all of America when I say this team will be our future and I will continually support them no matter what all those haters say. If you're from America show your support

I can not claim to speak for all of America, but there has been great sadness here recently. I think we all felt it when you got smurfed, and shared your pain when you got Angerfisted.

Win streak??

Today the talkative players of the Panthers said that they are now going to go undefeated for the rest of the season.

Kurtzio Aranzabal said, "We are going to rip and tear all teams that we face from now on! Everybody betta watch out for us, as we are on a mission to become the numba one team our league!"

Xiang Qiyan said, "The past does not dictate where our future is headed."

In other news, fans are excited about newly acquired, Mykyta Kamenyuka, and his great season so far. He is averaging 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists in 36 minutes a game. Star center, Kurtzio Aranzabal, is averaging 17 points and 16 rebounds in 40 minutes a game. One fan commented that if the Panthers could get these types of performences from everyone, then they would surely be on their way to a championship.

We will see if the Toccoa Panthers can live up to their words Tuesday at 8 p.m. against the Harrisburg Trafficers. Go Panthers. You can watch the game live at: http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/36170713/reportmatch.as...
