Yeah, I had an arena expansion last month that went over by 5 days. (Supposed to be 7, lasted 12)

I honestly don't even know why we have 'estimations.' Why not just have it take as long as advertised? Does this feature bring anything extra to the game?

I think the idea was to add more uncertainty, so you can't plan out exactly when and how much you need to build to have it ready just in time for a home game. I don't mind that uncertainty, but when it goes 5, 6 or more days off the estimate, it just gets really frustrating when it doesnt have to be.

But is it really so wrong to have it ready just in time for a home game? Would people have really complained and asked for this feature if it hadnt already existed?

No it doesn't make it wrong. But the BB's don't want 100% certainty on a lot of things (i.e. training sublevels, potentials, etc). Which is fine with me, actually.

Those are fine with me as well, seeing as those make sense to have some uncertainty. It would be no fun is you knew all superstar potential players capped at exactly 125,000 or every 19 year old took exactly 2 weeks to pop in JS. In fact, I would be against changing those any other way. I would guess there would be huge BB riots if they were to change. Arena expansions tho? If they changed those to finish exactly when estimated to finish, would people be rioting?

I wouldn't riot over any change in an online game that I don't have to pay for.

Yes, because I literally meant riot. Ugh, sometimes I hate trying to talk to people on forums.

You can still talk. I just thought we'd better leave exaggerations alone if we wanted to get our point across clearly.

Some people would actually celebrate this. I don't mind either way.

Through all this talk, the only reason I've got for you being for arena expansions estimates is because other features of the games are estimates as well. That's hardly a reason to be for something.

I never said I was for it. I said I was fine with it. If the BB's decided from the beginning that they want everything to be unambiguous and put exact numbers on everything, this would be a totally different game but I would be fine with it as well.

Hahaha, now you're claiming to not being for it after you opposed all the my posts against it?

Weren't you just saying you wanted to keep exaggerations out of this? No one has suggested the BB's put exact numbers on EVERYTHING and wanting EVERYTHING unambiguous in this thread.

Well if anyone actually has an opinion on this matter, id love to hear them chime in. I'm talking actual opinions though, people...not just people who argue just for the sake of arguing.
