I somewhat agree. But the issue with using head to head matchup to determine HCA is that with only one game, it's a bit too subject to odd happenings and bad luck. You'd need more than one game to have the head to head outcome favor the better team with any confidence.
the worse thing about it, that it is not a game at a neutral court.
Also the minutemanegement in buzzerbeater, is leading to lot of tactical sacrifing which at least in close leagues, could make head to head to a real luck factor who had to give up less at their game through to cup or the other league match in this week.
