Hey Sluuge,
I'd go for Play-off Crunch Time. Mainly because it works like a "normal" instead of cutting your enthousiasm in half. So the loss is not that big. While you might have a better team, the other team already has homecourt advantage. Homecourt advatage + CT advantage might be a bit too much, so I wouldn't risk it.
Here are examples how your TS might be effected:
If at 10 at QF:
PO CT -> 8.1 at Semi Final
PO Normal -> 9.5 at Semi Final
If at 9 at QF:
PO CT -> 7.6 at Semi Final
PO Normal -> 9 at Semi Final
These calculations are based on a coachParrot sheet. A link to download it should be somewhere on the forums...it's part of a bigger excell BB assist file.

My enthusiasm is at 11 now... i still dont have a clue what to do...i think i will play normal this game and if i pass i will play crunch time every game after :D
