I'll just answer a few things, since i'm not in favor of making this a drawn out forum drama. A good chat on msn probably will do more good than this.
Anyhow, what i'll answer:
One more thing, give me one good reason why you have decided to not play with Thys (and probably other important NT players) on next Monday, but well with players without any NT future like Lussu or Reyngoudt. Just mentionning this last name makes me laughing.
Joe, your point of view is that the best 12 players need to be on the court, so that their managers can earn some merchandise for it. However, other people are training players aswell, so they got the right to get merchandise just as much as you have. To me, it isn't a merchandise question. It is because i want to try something out, something new, and see how it goes. i've already mentioned a few names who will play, and Lussu and Reyngoudt are 2 of those, just as Beckers, Mees, Verciagne, Biermans, Ottevaere, Hemerijckx and vdHaegen are part of it. If you can't see what i'm talking about, then you failed to notice that i've mentioned all players that are pretty rounded. With that information, you should be able to piece together what i intend on doing.
scrimmages are their to try things out. Thys is a very specific player. He's a great player no doubt about that, but chances of him ending up on the SF spot are pretty slim. However, each of the players mentioned above could play SF if they were in the team. If we don't experiment during scrimmages, then when will we ever discover the new things? Admitted 90% of the time, nothing good comes forth of it. but if even 10% ( or less) gives you some usefull information, then that is information that you can use afterwards. If you don't approve of a NT manager trying to discover things that might be useful for the future, to be able to discover match-ups that can be exploited that we wouldn't normally think of, then you'd only be approving a NT manager who plays with your players so that you have the max amount of merchandise (which is pretty selfish, only thinking of yourself).
And as for the CT and all other things that you brought up: We can keep going forth on this and make this an ugly forum debate, however, i'm pretty sure that LoD will be modding this forum. So i think a good chat on msn will be much better for that. And if it's of any consolation. Had Nico played that first game, i would have done the same thing. Marichal would have easily abused De Neef as opponent, and thus i would have had a chance to win their as well. But you were my first opponent, and not Nico. So you got faced my CT and not Nico. Had you played with your starting line up, then my CT wouldn't have gone anywhere. But if you say i knifed you in the back and that you consider quitting the game, then something has seriously gone wrong here, cause you are seriously mistaken on that part. The game is ment to be fun. Being competitive is one thing. As far as i remember, you always were one who liked to take the challenges head on.
Btw: whats one game? you got a team to go 22-0, and now it still can go 21-1. 21-1 would still land you HCA no matter what. So relax and enjoy the game, rather than to get excited for just one game.
I'll try to be online tomorrow to have a decent chat with you (would have offered today, except that today is the day where my team might become champions of belgium for the 3rd consecutive time. Provided that they beat Waterloo Ducks that is).I rather avoid a public forum escalation that happened 2 seasons ago. Cause the outcome of one game ain't worth the trouble and back then, it definitely hasn't helped the activity rate on our forum.
