I would say once you are done training OD to move to passing if you are trying to make him a point guard, then throw in some one-on-one training

to comethalley's point I have three star potential players that are part of my rotation at a III level, all over 20k in salary. stars can be bought for very cheap and turned into useful players, they should not be overlooked so quickly

I might even argue you are wasting your money searching for high potential players at V since you don't need very high potential players to compete in lower levels

I look at players as an investment. They may be a good addition to the team, but I also want to sell for more than I got.

I wasn't saying that star players are useless, but that a PA+ will pop faster and be worth more later. A PA will probably be too expensive for a D5 or D4 team if trained right after a few seasons, so the idea is to train and sell, make money. Or train and have him as the main player with a high salary. I guess I just hate when a player doesnt pop at the end of the week lol

Potential has ZERO to do with how fast players pop.

Star potential is pretty low, he wont pop as much as an allstar or PA.

This is wrong. He will pop exactly the same amount as an All-Time Great. The only difference is the maximum amont of pops. He will grow just as fast, he just won't grow as far as other potential players.

PA... will pop faster

We both know that this is what was meant by your 'perfect' sentence. It's not true.

what all those other guys said plus you can still make money training and selling lower potential players because you are most likely paying less for them than higher salary players even if you don't think you can sell a lower potential player for as much as a PA once he's trained

I think that's probably one of the bigger problems with newer players they overspend for potential before they need it or know how to use it. Not saying you are one of those, more of a generalization
