Every time I see this I just pray the shooter is shooting against my "zone", not the OD of my C, although many would disagree. It's a matter of interpreting the match engine. Do you feel better thinking this way?

So what you're saying is that this game has flaws and that the way some tactics are setup are rudimentary, uncareful and unrealistic?

Not surprised coming from this type of game. Of course also like in any other type of game of this style, there will also people coming out defending it, almost like this was RL basketball and finding excuses for every single situation. I'm pretty experienced about it to be honest.

Isn't shooting over a C, because of the higher shotblocking skill of those players, always a worse option for an attacking team?

Why would you not like you C to contend shots?

Just in case you were referring to me (which you may not have been). I do recognize that there are tons of unrealistic flaws with the game engine and it far from mirrors real life. I just didn't think this is one of those examples.

Outside defence is the ability to defend on the perimeter. Shot blocking is a myth. Only in the land of yetis and unicorns does shot blocking exist.

And yes, this is how 3-2 has always worked since I've played.

On one hand, your Center guarding his outside player isn't a great idea most of the time. On other hand, your Center will get a lot of possibilities to block a shot, so I guess it cancels each other out unless your center has either Atrocious OD or bad SB.

(48762640) Froget, 3 blocks
(46511291) Froget, 3 blocks
(48762627) Froget, 5 blocks
(52079077) Clemente, 6 blocks

Last game was a total blowout, but Clemente is nothing special - ID 7 and SB 6. Froget however has ID 14 and SB 8. I'm using 3-2 zone in all games.
