your 1st-5th seeds all have a chance at promotion though as well as our 1st-3rd seeds in my opinion.

Just from looking at it 4th and 5th are below 0.500 but are still positive +/-, but dont really have a chance of promoting... Really only the 1st has a chance and still not looking too good, looks like a great 8 will promote either way..

I said their 1st-5th seeds. Not ours. Their 5th seed has an insane winning record but is stuck on the tough side is all. And i believe our 1st and 2nd seeds have a good shot too. Same thing with our third seed if he makes a transaction or two.

Welcome all to the first annual Division III mid-season awards ceremony! The only season 21 awards ceremony which validates your parking with a $40 minimum at the bar. If at the end on the night you're sober enough to find your car, you're sober enough to drive! Tonight's production is brought to you in part by Wolph Energy Drink. Wolph - for when you need to be jittery enough to type incomprehensible Tolstoy-length diatribes on forums late at night. Endorsed by truckers and conspiracy theorists.
Before we get to the awards for best league, there are a few individual accolades to hand out:
Highest Ranked Team
: Is World Rank a meaningless metric? tripsatx, GM of the Harrisburg Hammerheads in III.7, will beg to differ as his team is the highest ranked team in III at #30.
Best Offense
: The Thunder Gods of III.11 are averaging 106.5 points a game with their PTB offense.
Best Defense
: The Iron Dukes of III.16 only give up 58.8 points per game.
Best Point Differential
: Hey Thunder Gods, get your cute asses up here for another trophy! 34.5 points differential per game this season.
Most Boring Team
: Combine great defense and a crappy Patient-based offense and you have the Dudelyville Dudes of III.13, who average 63.3 pts and give up 70.7. Snoooore!
Most Exciting Team
: Who can guess which tactics will result in high scoring games? RnG/2-3 you say? You betcha! The Double Dribblers of III.3 play this and the court action is the zippiest you'll see in III with their average game going 104.9 to 102.1.
We'll take a short break here and say a few words on behalf of longtime Buzzerbeater sponsor Grubbs Condoms. Grubbs - for when you're strapped for cash and want really dirt cheap protection with a 60% success rate. Our guarantee is if you end up with a child after using our product and name him Grubbs we'll give you $1000! So what are you waiting for - get your Grubb on!
Welcome back! Let's dig right into the most controversial awards: the League Awards.
Deepest League
: A tough decision this season, as 8 out of 16 leagues have at least one bot team. After conferring with the judges we've decided to give the bot teams a standard WR of 500. So with that calculation in mind the deepest league is...III.16! III.16 has 16 active teams with an average WR of 202.5.
Toughest Promotion
: This award is for the the league with the toughest (current) playoff teams. And the winner is III.7 with a playoff average of WR 105.
Good night and thanks for coming out! Join us here next week for the league VI awards, brought to you by the Guatemalan U21 team, which had nothing better to do.
Group hug!

I came out of D.III.16 and I will say this, it is one of the hardest and deepest leagues you will see. It is one of the few leagues that you have to plan 2 seasons out just to promote out of. When I was in that league I was always 2-4th place and could never get out of it. I had to make a plan to destroy the whole team and go all in from there must to get out of it. Now, the league is still tough and everyone has to be at the top of their game or else they stand a chance to lose.
Although it is tough, I think it might be one of the funnest leagues out there. Hopefully when I relegate, I go back to III.16.

Raise your hand if you promoted from last year's (arguably) toughest D4 league (IV.10) into this season's toughest D3 (III.7).
(Raises hand begrudgingly)
