I agree that those changes make no sense, but some changes would actually improve significally the draft interest.
Me and my friendswe kinda think draft isn't worth it, after some years of experience. Mostly because the number of good draftees are minimal, like one 18year old MVP per league...and I know thats pretty random.
I think you should improve something in the draft, maybe force each league to have two 18y old players with >= MVP potential, or even make it 1/3 19 years old and 2/3 18...
Some change for next season on the draft would be great, since I think its super important on this game and people focus it nowadays

I agree with this. Monetarily, I don't think the payoff matches the cost. Part of that is probably due to me having poor draft position, nonetheless I don't think it's balanced well. To be honest, if it wasn't for the player editing feature for subscribers, I wouldn't put any money into scouting at all.

I can understand people (...) asking for 19 y old having some strong
That would be nice. Save me from moving every 19 year old to the bottom of the queue automatically. I think it just makes sense, the plus side of drafting older is those players tend to be more polished.

Off the cuff, it'd be cool to see 20-21 year olds in the mix too provided their skills are adjusted for age. That being said, I haven't really considered the ramifications of such a change. It may be a bad idea.

I think the obvious solution then is to eliminate all potentials above allstar, and suddenly a lot more players would be considered "good draftees" suddenly.
