I'm not trying to insult your spelling but,
it would be easier for all of us to see proper spelling,
that is all I'm saying.

Thank you for the response. I'm not looking to train him, just use him as my SF, i'm training guards and i'm just looking to put good players in my non training positions and remember i'm in D IV. I see what your saying about his FT, but even if he was great he would only average like 1 more point a game, less then that since he joined my team. I'm just pretty confused because his skills are much higher then my last SF and the other guy was averaging a 10.5. how important is stamina?

my guy playing PF is:
Kari Haaparanta (12251077)

Weekly salary: $ 21 282
Role: regular starter
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 93400
Age: 34
Height: 6'11" / 211 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: prolific Jump Range: proficient
Outside Def.: inept Handling: awful
Driving: inept Passing: average
Inside Shot: tremendous Inside Def.: prolific
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average ↓
Stamina: strong Free Throw: proficient

Experience: sensational

he averages like a 12 and can put up a 13 during his peak, so i don't think dadson can really do better. This season i'm training guards, but the plan was to move to inside skills next year, so i will be training guards at C. The plan was to have dadson play SF on that team and be playing PF on defense so he would just his ID and RB

i'm confused on how i could get that in D IV. I looked at the transfer market and people with skills a little worse then what you posted are going for like 1 mil and have a salary of 35K. How is that unattainable for my division? I've been able to find PF and C that have a salary around 20K and cost like 200K on the transfer market who are putting up 11-13.5 for my team. I've been stuck in second place in my division and figured the best way to try to improve was with a better SF, my last guys as i said was putting up like 10.5. Problem is i can't seem to find an acceptable SF, any thoughts on what i can do? If not this then what else can i do to try and improve my team and promote?

Ways to have a perfect SF:

1)Buy a player with high inside skills and mediocre outside skills and train him (this case suitable for you because you train guards)
e.x i create this player as sf and i bought him only 81k
Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: strong
Driving: respectable ↑ Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: medi

2)Buy an old player 33-34 y.o temporarily and when you collect money you can replace him with younger one

3)Buy an expensive younger player (but you dont have money as i didnt to buy one)

SO i did the 1st and 2nd case and now i will promote to III league and i can replace the older one and also i create an other player...

Hope my strategy will help you

that's game shape and enthu.

one of my rules is never buy a sf with low/ passing. freethrow and driving. it going to be hard to find those thing in BB because the majority are inside Sf. This way you sf can be 3rd option to run the offense. Balance is the key

staminas is very important next to game shape. enthu is important as well. those 3 factor help teams win, it not always skill outright.

don't get too distracted by game ratings, especially at SF. i am no expert, but it is my experience that game ratings are in part a reflection of team performance; your frustration may be his having to play with (and cover for) weaker players; additionally, SF ratings love good shooters, and this guy is not much of a shooter.

i go with the advice to use this player at PF; his outside skills make your offensive choices much broader. if you are going to be in DIV for a while, train the SF you want -- start with a balanced 19 or 20 year old to save time and money.

He gets low rating because he has too low Jumpshot to be a good SF by game engine standards. He can function properly for your team, rating doesn't truly reflect his value in games.

Just stick with him, good SF's cost fortunes which you indeed can't afford. Don't worry too much about the rating.
