That's what I'm hoping for. I think he'll TIE against me and I'll use Crunch Time and hopefully a miracle can occur. Lol I'm trying my best to pull this one out.

I'm experimenting with TIE/crunch this week, too. I'm in the same situation with my Cup game, and trying to TIE league games (and still win).

My question is: Once your enthusiasm is up after TIE (I'm at "encouraged" now) does TIE take your game performance back to normal ("ready") or lower than that?

I don't know the precize effect, but if you're at 6 ENT playing TIE would probaby end up in underperforming vs playing normal at 5 ENT. You need to gain more ENT before you reach that point.

Enthusiasm can be a major factor, check my game few seasons ago (68613887)

I think he had 2-3 times larger salary maybe 130k vs 350-500k

I had very high enthusiasm and game shape, while he crunched the game before, probably had 2-3 enth.

I won, despite his salaries and CT versus my TIE. Also, he guessed GDP

I was able to complete the impossible and won 74-67. My opponent did TIE and I used crunch time with Inspired enthusiasm. So enthusiasm plays a huge part in this game in my opinion. He had at least a team with twice the salary as mine and I was able to still win the game and pretty much lead he whole way. I'm pumped right now. Lol gotta love Buzzerbeater sometimes.

Great job going all-in and getting the win. Keep in mind that he only played 2 of his 20k+ starters, so don't contribute it to enthousiasm too much.

That's what happens when you take teams lightly. It's my biggest win so far in my short buzzerbeater career.(started last season)

And thank you!

Yep, playing teams from lower divisions in the cup can be tricky since like you, they have nothing to lose because league games are easy.

But yeah it's a really good job, this kind of thinking gets you further in the game. Try to read your opponent, weigh your chances and set off the gains against the losses. In this case, a lost gamble wouldn't have hurt you very much, so it was a smart thing to do. Good luck in your next cup match; the guy only has 2 good players so there's a chance he won't play them a lot. What level is your enth now?
