Not what I mean. I know there are reasons for my losses; I am not incompetent like the managers in that complaining thread.

I'm talking about these 2 games of mine from a while ago. Exact same statline. Kinda ruined some of the fun. Proof that this game can be mathematically figured out 100%. It's not a basketball sim any more. It's chess.

No, there is no randomness or "small luck factor" in Buzzerbeater, and that is an issue. 2 games with the exact same statline; you're kidding right?

That is the strangest thing I have ever seen on BB. Seems more like a bug to me. Not sure if it needs to be looked into, but I have never seen any other instances of the exact same stat lines for everything.

Oh I see. That makes more sense. I suppose if nothing changed game shape wise or tactical wise, then it makes sense since the games were back to back in the same week.

Yep, it's known. It's the sort of thing that can happen if all of the inputs used to generate the random seed and results of a match are tied to things that may not update between the two games. It's also something that's apparently difficult to locate the cause of since I know this discussion's been had with Marin before and if it were as simple as finding where a random seed was generating and including a date/time hash or something, he would have done so already.

Well still things like that shouldn't happen , every game should be a live update and that's what I'm talking about, if u want to improve the overall of the game it can be done. How long bb had been running ? 4-5 years now maybe even 6, there can be a virtual model of the game engine and it will improve the quality and consumer rate by Plenty u guys gotta believe

I think it's more a case of the resources available to develop the game and what can be reasonably attained with those resources. A thorough rewrite of the game engine just isn't something that can be reasonably attained with what BB has available to it currently and it's extremely difficult to envision a realistic scenario where that changes that.

because its the only factor out the GE ... it is a developing basic question, same input data always gives same output data, any other behaivour will be chaotic and uncontrollable

its not a bug, there is no random in programming (of course, always talking about a good programmer)


What do you mean "no random in programming" ? You can generate pseudo-random numbers with any programming language.
