You know what's funny though? Read the history of FA according to the BB supremo here: (270442.5).

Now I would like to draw your attention to his statement: "[we] removed most of the usual FAs that used to clutter the market. Like 30+ high salary players. Those had really low prices and were actually affecting the way the game is played (LI dominance was partly caused by this). "

Now think about which guards who have a high TSP given a level of salary and you will find...LI guards with high IS!!!!

I'm doubtful that using raw TSP or outside/inside TSP will yield better results in preventing LI players from getting to the FA market than salary would. Salary does indeed weigh relevant skills into the calculation, it's not just a random metric tossed out there and since salary does not take into account IS for guards...inside guards would actually be penalised over outside guards if salary was used as a threshold instead of TSP!

Yeah I saw that. It's getting better and better, lately, doesn't it?

Why not just make everyone a FA?

Suggestion thread for that, my friend (y). In this thread, as you can see in the voting options, you can't disagree with the BBs, you can only disagree to agree!

Lemonshine, if there is something wrong with the new FA system, a diplomatic discussion of it would get a heckuva lot better result than a lot of sarcastic whining.

I for one would like to see a reasoned and reasonable analysis of the change.

Yes lets have a total roster reset! Put every player on every team on TL at the same time, give every manager exactly $1,000,000, and let the purge begin! O^*

What are you talking about? I voted for we are in the best of possible worlds. Or the closer option.

I love it that the Free Agents are now fewer and they need to be exceptional in something. I love that the change purpose was to save young players who retired under previous rules and now we're going to retire young player who were going to be saved under previous rules. What can I say? I'm in awe for the irony of it all.

I'll save the rest for a in-game email!

Wow, just wow. I guess the gloves are off and you've shown your real face. You don't like a change in the game and your best effort to change our minds about it is to use sarcasm, whining and personal attacks (yes, I feel personally offended!) to give legitimacy to your cause! If anything, your initiative is extremely counterproductive. These rants have already earned you a very dubious image in the community, therefore I am not very concerned about your influence. Most people can discern a well argumented post from a whining flame.

Do you have a right to express your dissatisfaction? Of course. Can we talk about the changes like normal adults? Sure. But this is not the way to do it. Calm down, explain your standpoint based on real data (not just a couple of examples) and we'll talk about it, but in a new thread, one that's not offensive to anyone. Maybe then we can get a constructive discussion going.

Also, don't make me regret trying to be reasonable, my tolerance has limits.
