in that case, your best odds are to crunch in game 2. in all likelihood, your opponent will crunch as well in game 2, but with home-court advantage, all else equal, your team should win.

if you are a risk taker, you could tie under the assumtion that your opponent will crunch in game 2, giving you a win in the third game (and the extra revenue and training). however, your opponent may go against the obvious choice of crunching in game 2 - so it is not recommended.

What would you do if enthusiasm was +-equal and you played the 2nd game away? I think the best way is to TIE it ( I have slightly bettter team, the opponent TIED the first game but CRUNCHED the semifinals, i played both - semifinals+1st finals - normal and won the first final game.) because the opponent certainly will have worse enthusiasm in the 3rd game (he won't have the balls to TIE and if he had, he would lose.) + I'll enjoy the homecourt advantage.

chances are high he will TIE at home in order to gain as much enthousiasm as possible for the final game.
He knows he will have a chance to loose, but if he doesn't, he is almost certain to loose game 3, so he will have to gamble that he will win with TIE to be able to get any chance in the third game (this is exactly what I did last year too btw).
So maybe your only chance is to CT this game...
Choice is up to you, but I'd TIE if I where him...

EDIT: besides, if you play CT, and he does not, you probably win now. So in order for him to have any chance, he need to CT too. This means you both will have about the same enthousiasm for the final game, and you have houme court... so even if you CT and loose now, you still have decent chance tomorrow!
I'd definatly CT tonight...

Yes, but if I lose now, i'll get an extra training..if he TIEs, he'll proably lose even if i tie...My team is better. If he plays normal/CT, i'll have better enthusiasm and homecourt in the third game.
And i personally dont believe he would TIE it...this is a must win for him.
+I have a good chance even if he plays normal today.

The catastrophic scenario: He TIEs, wins---> We have the same enthusiasm and I have slightly better team and the homecourt)

I agree that to TIE this game is a bit more risky than to CT it. But I'd like to celebrate the title at home with my fans:))

EDIT: As i said, my opponent played normal (or CT?). I lost, so everything went well:)

well, I've noticed some teams always play normal, no matter what....
The fact they make the finals is remarkable, and means they realy have good players.
I lost my semi's this season to such a team while I was gambling on taking him on TIe to have good prostects for the finals.

Well, this team doesn't play "normal" every match, they TIEd the first finals...so i think they know how to use TIE/CT..

then chances are big he was unable to get to a pc after saturday's game, and before sundays, or he thought the game would be next thuesday or so.
It is prety bad that the tiebreaker is imediatly the day after the second game, because it might cause teams who don't want to play the third game with their standard team to not be able to set a line-up in that short time.
