I think the spikes were somewhat predictable, but nobody noticed or cared enough. The Utopia promotion money was pure madness, combine that with a lot less teams in low divisions that had to sell trainees as soon as they got too expensive, you get a very explosive combination.

I am currently in a sit out mood, although I was thinking about selling a player for way too much and buying back an equal guy for less money. As we can enter any amount we ask for, this could be a profitable move.

Maybe the announced micronation solution will make an end to this - I hope it does not turn out as some kind of "Utopia 2", or an unsensitive merger of countries.

I just wanted to say something about #4...

Maybe there's a simpler way to make OD and IS less OP. I suggest making 1v1 training much, much more slower. It's unfair, that with this training you can train 3 skills (HN, DV, JS+IS) with the same speed, as in 1-skilled training drills. What is more, enormous amounts of HN/DV, which we can get by using this training, are linked with OD by very strong elastic effect. I think, that I don't have to remind you about IS guards, which are the only way to train multiskill guards nowadays.; in my opinion it's an another consequence of 1v1 for forwards domination.

If we decrease the amount of 1v1 training by 30, 40, or even 50%, trainers will be forced to change their training routines. Firstly, every player will lose a big amount of JS, HN, DV, and IS. Normal JS training will become the best way to train JS, and I think that average JR of players will be increased because of that. The same thing may happen to IS - the balance between it and ID will be restored. Finally, as I said before, the amount of HN and DV will decrease - therefore the OD training will become much slower. All things considered, I think that this change would increase the amount of ways to train players; it would also make LI (your "favourite" tactic, I believe ) weaker by increasing the meaning of outside tactics.

Of course, it wouldn't increase the amount of trained players, but I have to remind that I believe, that training should be challenging. Of course, other training drills may get more powerful to make an overall speed of training same as before.

About #1 and #3, I fully agree with this points; every way to decrease the amount of money, which is getting into BB, is good.

Well, I believe, that removing IS from 1v1 for forwards may solve problem with too powerful IS, but I think that we have to do much more. Your proposal deals only with 1 of 3 parts of the problem of the overpowered 1v1 (1v1 is a best way to improve guards IS/1v1 is a best way to make OD training much faster/1v1 is a worthwhile way of training JS).

Training, if anything needs to be changed about it, needs to be much faster in general.
