Rapidshare is a long time ago shut down, but app download link can be found here (found it): https://nofile.io/f/1P8WM2X1enK/BB_Game_Analyzer.exe

Yet, I have some dll problem when running it. I'll try again in the coming days...

You can do your own tool if you have the play by play. All the information is in there except who lost the ball after a steal. Perhaps that's what you should ask to be added.

You also have the BBApi which can already be used to download boxscores and build most advanced stats. Ultimately for advanced stats you need both individual and team aggregations, so boxscore is fine. For example I think you could calculate AST% and BLK% or ORtg DRtg from the boxscores.

The only thing the boxscores won't give you is the type of shot, the lineups, who defended who and who assisted who. Boxscores also lack team rebounds and turnovers (i.e. 24 second violations or the famous rebounds going out of bounds)
You could get something like this very easily from the BBApi:

You can ask anyone with some coding knowledge to help you.

I have my own pbp analyser, which works fine and I planned to use for scouting and create advanced or detailed stats. I still need to finish the analysis part, but I won't share this with others as it took me quite some time to put together and I always planned to use it to help my NT and U21 among other things.

The US offsite did have some advanced stats too, including how many guarded/unguarded shots a player had taken or defended. I don't know who put that tool together, but it was years ago and it's unlikely they are still active. I think Phyr went bot too.

Well it's not that simple. The number of variables that go into something like Winshares, just to calculate something like the normalised number of possessions is really large and you need both individual and team stats.

What you're asking (the detailed information on defense) is not even available on NBA sites like basketball reference tbh, so I don't see how even enthusiastic fans should demand it for this game.

Also the position of the shot in the viewer is randomised based on the type of shot. I'm pretty sure that's irrelevant for BB. What is relevant is the kind of shot selected by the GE.

I think it was originally mfork that had done it. There was talk a couple of years ago I think of trying to recreate it and it seemed to go nowhere, but I am not all that active there either.
