Ad Shambrook is the king..


I just spent a couple of minutes checking out the replay of the Shambrook quadruple-double game. He completed it with his 10th steal with 2:34 left... in the third quarter!

I really see some older games with players getting easily over 50 points, or 25 rebounds, or 10 steals, and it makes me think that the game engine has been adjusted over time to get similar and similar to RL. After all, who would steal 25 balls in 1 game, assuming its not ME against CP3 or something.


But those ratings are yet a mistery for me: how the f** are they given? I mean, the guy over there got a Q-D and just got a cheap 7.0, while today I had and 9.0 with 8 points and 8 rebounds in 20 minutes. Cmon, cant even compare.

YEah, the ratings have no relation to a player's performance, or at least very little. They are a function of his skill levels and game shape as far as I can tell.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

yeah
resistence comes into play indirectly too (if the player plays 20min but 5min each quarter, he'll probably have a better grade under same form and skills in a match in which he plays 20min on one shot)

there's probably some influence of what he did on court, but not much
