This seems to be a big negative for KDB as well, because it's going to be much tougher to pick up league points while the B3 is going on.

Schedules are up. Salisbury, Chicago, KDB, and The Nation to start. Does anyone else have a more difficult first 4 games in the world than me?

At least the game after that is against Wake. If history holds true, he'll have at least two starters injured by then. Of course, I lost that game last time as well...

On another note, season ticket holders jumped about 425 for me. How did the rest of you make out?

I really think SA or I might have a chance to grab the #1 seed this year. I know that sounds like crazy talk, but KDB is going to have a much tougher time this season.

One of the more overlooked part of a schedule is the home/away scheduling against the other conference. King Drive got it tough this year going away to Demon, Ice Storm, and Giants. I get to play those 3 at home this year. No disrespect to the other Great 8 teams, but those 3 are historically the 3 toughest to get a win against. Salisbury also has those 3 teams away - but since he has no B3 to worry about, along with his yearly early cup exit (Hi Juice!) his schedule will be less packed.

I expect Digging for Change to make some noise this year too and Wake Forest is healthy and much better than before. Red Sox Nation is always tough and Turkey was the 3rd seed last year. I also think we haven't seen the best of TFTSP as well.

Man, the Big 8 is tougher than ever this season!

I also play salisbury, chicago, kdb, and vikman first four... we have opposite teams at home. looks like turkey is my doppelganger of sorts in this horrible, horrible situation.

Edit: Looks like I get the toughest four Great 8 teams at home for across conference play. Hey, thats something.

Before last season I predicted the Bulls would take the top seed, and the big reason that probably didn't happen was the good run in the B3 and then the lack of a really strong inside guy. Mid-season you added Kline, arguably the best big in the NBBA, and then later in the season, Case. With those two all season, no B3 distraction, and the main reason I thought the Bulls would come through (best crop of guards in the league and improving), figure you're the odds on favorite.

Also predict Salisbury will finish ahead of me. Really didn't know how long your transition to guard training would take, but by the playoffs you had put it together. For 3.5 qtrs of our QF I thought you had overcome my HCA and pulled it off. No B3 and further maturity of you're now very balanced team should equal you and the bulls battling it out for the top seed.

Turkey was the surprise #3 seed last season, so we'll have to see how the sale of Spurlock and addition of the most expensive transfer in the world plays out. Too early to tell.
