His height will cause him to train outside d slower (probably about 30% slower than a 6'), but much faster than a 6'10'' guy.

Is it scaled like that or are there height groups? Will a 6'4" guy training RB train faster than a 6'3"? Sorry, I know this isnt the help forum, but it is on subject

It's definitely scaled to where a 7'5'' player will train rebounding faster than a 7'4'' player.

That makes sense, height is directly involved in RB. It makes sense that it goes the other way with shorter as well, just hard to think being an inch shorter will help you learn OD. Have to keep reminding myself that some things in the game are a bit more abstract.

Ive got a 6" 7' (6700055) C and think it might make sense to turn him into a SF. Will it be hard to train his outside D? What would you all recommend?

His HN and DR will influence it too. It is doable I have 6-6 PG/SF player and recently he popped every second week of one post OD training (lvl4). Multi skilled forwards are good big men anyway.

He might become a decent SF, but I'd tend to train him as a PF since he has an excellent start already. That pitiful OD is in my opinion very difficult to train up. Good luck regardless of which path you take....Pappy

In my opinion the pitiful outside defense disqualifies him to be a decent SF. I would use him at C spot, PF as second alternative (cause jump shooting big men are more usual at PF) - but this all depends on your whole team.

Not saying you can't train him in outside skills, he would benefit from higher skills at any position but I wouldn't expect him to be a solution for SF spot. To get a serviceable OD it would take half a season of one post training at PG I guess, i would center such a training around him. He could use slightly better jump shot too, so if I should choose I would start with training IS and rotate inside skill after few weeks.

After all it all depends on other possible trainees and their position (upcoming draft included), this player can be included in many training schedules, he won't be the fast learning one, but is pretty balanced, so I wouldn't insist to train this or that skill just because this one needs it if other players could benefit from different training.
