Only real advantage is that you can test different tactics and the strength of your team without the consequences of losing a match. Could also be a fun challenge with your friends.

And of course the flip side of this is that your opposition can scout you better, because you have an extra game to look at, so it's as much of an advantage as it is a disadvantage

Unless you use it only as a way to throw those scouting oppositions off-track by using crazy tactics. :-P

Nah, I usually use these in real games. Always catch the opposition off-guard

I would like to know if you can play with a poor passer in R & G tactic. A bit hard for my opponents to figure out that my PG is a poor passer because of that So I think that you can test how some things works but not necessarily let others know about your players strengths.

Yes, having a PL game with help with this. But you can also test this in a scrimmage.

As your training is based on playing time I can't use my best players in scrimmages and try tactics as is possible in private matches. This is also my main reason to play private league matches.

Does your current enthusiasm have an effect in scrimmage games?

Current enthusiasm has an effect in all games, be it scrimmage, private league, league, cup, or B3.

There are two specific things that I get out of PL games (aside from the usual fun):

1. It's a chance to test out my lineups in games that don't really count and don't effect game shape/training, to see if certain combinations work well together and in certain offense/defense situations, and really get to know my roster strengths and weaknesses.

2. It's a chance to play against some teams that I know are way out of my league, to see just how far I have to go to develop my team into a team that can success in higher divisions, and to see what the better teams are like and how they play games.

In short, PL leagues are maybe the one Supporter feature that, while not giving us a direct tactical advantage, does give us a small edge in helping us get to know the game and our teams a little better.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
