I think Bush the Ball is having a guard who likes to dribble a lot dribble the ball for a really long time until the ball is "bushed". This is a good tactic against teams that do not pass well since by the second half the only way to bring the ball up the floor is to pass it since the ball is too bushed to be dribbled. It is also a good tactic against outside oriented offenses (Motion, R&G) since it is difficult to shoot a bushed ball that is too tired to bounce off of the backboard or give a nice roll off of the rim, so a team needs to dunk it home to score a lot.I apologize if this is wrong and I am misleading anybody.
