I have a player that was injured two games ago, but his player page doesn't mention the length of his injury. I assumed that he wasn't injured any longer, but I've tried to start him in my last two games and he just doesn't show up in the game after I've set him in my starting lineup. Is this a bug? Has anyone seen this before?

Some...maybe most injury are just for the duration of the game. So if it doesn't mention a injury duration after the match, I think it means he only missed the end of that game.

That's precisely what I thought. However, he won't show up in the game when I submit orders for him to start. Two games in a row now that has happened.

Hmmm...is you download the XML file that you load into Assit, does it say he's still injured?

i think the new injuries system is unfair.

If u have a +7 weeks injuried player, when it's healed his practice will be at lvl 1 or 2. So if u want him to improve his practice, he has to play 48 minutes per week. If u make him play on official games, your team will suck. If u make him play on friendly games, he wont be able to play that 48 minutes since the coach will change him soon because he sux, unless you dont set any substitute player....

Making the game more real doesnt mean making the game more fun.

Excuse my very poor and pathetic english :P

for what it's worth:

i have still my first doctor (lvl 1)

my first injury was a 18yr old with 2 weeks injury. The next day he lost his injury... (maybe a bug, or he healed very very fast...)

my second was a 20 yr old with also a 2 week injury. It took exactly 2 weeks (14 days) to recover.

Now I have a 4week injury since yesterday, I'll see what happens...

The most anoying part about an injury is that the player can't play minutes and within 1 week is out of shape. Once he can play again, and with a good coach, this means the other guy for the same position gets many minutes, because he is still in good shape, and the recovered player is not.
This results in few minutes for the recovered player, which means he will stay out of shape...
to bring back such a player in the routine he was in before the injury, it takes much effort in your line up. You need to put him in play often, because he gets few minutes per game, but in the meantime, you are stuck with a player in bad shape for maybe a very important game....

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

Game Shape is relatively easy to manage, and it doesn't take an exceedingly long time to rebuild.

What's happening with game shape this week? Do we just try to manage even with the all-star game? Or is game shape being reset?

I think we just have to manage with what we have.
