It's up to you to choose - you have to BB-mail your mentor. Everyone on the mentor list is very active and knowledgeable. Personally I'd recommend jbmcrock, if he's still available. He's always been very helpful to me.

If you choose me, I'd be happy to help, though.

It'd be nice to keep track of all the things mentors pass on to their mentees. We could end up with a Canada's Official Guidebook to BB or something.

With the dearth of mentees, maybe someone should be sending bb mails to new users in order to entice them to play. as of now, i have no canadian mentees.

When I was GM, I used to send out BB-mails to every new Canadian user I accepted offering help. No one ever took me up on it but then again someone was always beating me to the Canadian sign-ups.

What does this mentoree business consist of? Just getting advice on how to advance in a less haphazard fashion?

You get yourself a mentor, and you ask him/her questions. Your mentor ill answer your questions and provide insight on how to progress with a new team.

I'm guessing at some point, we will have a database of information where we will store the general advice from every mentor so that the mentees can see the advice given by others.

jbmcrock has provided some helpful initial advice already. I don't know a lot but from what I can deduce, s/he's probably the person to ask advice from.

I am honored to be placed on this list. For some reason I was considered worthy of it, even though I am myself aware that I did not have time to invest in BB in last season, season and half, which also was visible in my team's evolution

If this is not extremely time consuming and somebody thinks I can help them out with something, I don't have a problem with it, and I will do my best to provide some actual useful tips.

I would love to have a mentor. I am in my second season and am doing well, but some advice never hurt.

Let me know if you are interested in helping me out.
