I just sold a player for 7.5 mil so I don't think the prices are going down

I have also searched one since the relegation games finished. Those level 5+ trainer prices are sky high.. yesterday i finaly gave up anf bought level 4 trainer basicly for free

Training is very profitable now and you are definitely seeing more people train. IMHO there are more people in the NBBA that are actually training young players and not just finishing up the skills of a 27/28 year old than I can every recall. At the same time trainer prices have always been high in the beginning of every season.
